I'd consider Geometry Dash as being one of the best examples of a knockoff being far better and superior than the original. It's based on The Impossible Game but added so much more gameplay mechanics and an editor that made it last to this very day

TheoTown isn't a knockoff of Cities Skyline. They're just both city-building games, and TheoTown is just hugely inspired by the old SimCity games. That doesn't make it a ripoff. Is Planet Coaster a ripoff? It's hugely inspired by the old Roller Coaster Tycoon games and they're both about building roller coasters. Is BattleBit a ripoff? It's hugely inspired by Battlefield. Just because a game is inspired by another one, it doesn't make that game a ripoff.

Fall Guys player count comparison is not accurate due to F2P players being only on EGS, while Steam gamers are OGs who bought the game back in the day, so that number will be much smaller.
While I don’t play it myself, Stumble Guys is also on mobile platforms allowing more access to players that would play the game I’m not sure if the mobile version came out first to cash in on Fall Guys’ success, then the Steam version coming later, but Stumble Guys really just gained its following due to being available more easily and it also somehow spawned a toyline
From a technical standpoint it is superior and i prefeer, just hated getting softlocked in the tutorial (The cop that is supposed to use Red Mode:tm: never does)

As someone who played both PG3D and PS3D, if I had to choose one to play over the other it'd had to be PS3D, sure the beginning of ps3d was a huge buggy mess and makes it look like a rushed version of pg3d but overtime it really improved in quality! Unlike pg3d, the devs listen to their players and actually update their games to the request of the fans, and it's genuinely a fun game to play if you're bored. Pg3d really fell off and I can't see me playing it again, wish is disappointing since I've been playing it since 2017.

Very true. This is worsened by the fact that there are high-tier weapons and armor that are miles better than whatever you have on hand that are locked behind a paywall that everyone always buys. Nowadays, you won't get very far into the game without breaking out your wallet.

I'd say that Cops and Robbers is also better than PG3D for 2 main reasons: 1. There's no egregious amount of stuff that you have to grind to pay for. In fact, the game actually rewards you for playing it. And with how much stuff you'll acquire when starting out, currency won't be a problem. 2. The amount of customization the game encourages. From weapons to maps to even the skins. There are hundreds of different custom-made things that the hardest part is trying to pick out your favorites. And if you don't see anything that you want, you can make it.
one more thing about stumble guys is that the game is insanely easy to play, like if you want get into a match in fall guys it would take up to 2 minutes but in stumble guys you can get into a match in just seconds
I wouldn't call Stumble Guys better than Fall Guys. With it's lack of quality, complete and obvious plaigarism (Creative = Workshop) and being owned by a company known for a casino game (Monopoly GO), it just got lucky that Mediatonic didn't really have the resources to keep the game at it's peak, wasn't free, and even with the Epic acquisition now, doesn't have the resources to keep up, purely because Epic is making a metaverse with Fortnite, and are using Mediatonic for that. Nontheless, Epic haven't shut the game down yet, something that they did with Fuser after acquring Harmonix, so we can't say that its a flop. It did loose 5m MAU though since the f2p launch, but still has around 13m MAU.
I wouldn’t call PixelStrike to be a clone/copy of PG3D, but rather a Cod/CounterStrike hybrid with a pixel art style, it tries to be more realistic and more competitive while Pixelgun tries to be more casual with its more simple movement and gunplay Pixel Strike really appeals to competitive players with its more rewarding grinding system and for even having a Prestige System, while Pixelgun is much better for playing a few matches then getting off I love both games, but PixelStrike is way more rewarding and fun long term, if I were a lower level in PG3D I wouldn’t even bother playing the game Great video by the way! However, this game puts you in a match immediately, has a map/gamemode voting system, does NOT take hundreds of gigabytes, does NOT have disbanding lobbies, and has ALL of the weapons unlockable just by playing the game.

Sure, you'll hit a limit somewhere, but with the amount of achievements and rewards the game throws your way, it's pretty easy for new players to settle into the game without worrying about getting killed almost immediately.
