Good evening Clare! I haven’t purchased this collection, it reminds me very much of the Y2K collection. I feel that Revolution has rapidly gone downhill in quality and their ideas are very ‘samey’ since Adam left. I bought the skin silk foundation but much prefer to use the maybelline skin tint, much more natural. I don’t know, I think Revolution beauty has had its day. The look you’ve created is lovely but you have better quality palettes that could’ve created the same look xxxx

Those pale light blues are gorgeous on the eye on every skin tone, any baby blue lilac, periwinkle type shades seem to be more modern day blues without looking like Mimi.🤡

@@ClareWalchmy daughter and I both thought the pressed powder was a highlighter also. Question: what would you compare that powder to, setting, finishing, touch up? Are they trying to dupe the beloved Nars crystal light reflecting pressed powder, or is it a different consistency/formula? It’s so small, it looks like it’s meant for target powdering under the eye like the Nars, and I’ve been trying to find an excellent dupe for Nars for years. The best pressed powder can can be used under the eye as well as all over the face is the Sephora Microsculpt pressed powder, L’Oréal True Match super blendable pressed powder, but in the triangular compact (not the circular one, and there is a difference.) It can be used under the eye without looking heavy or dry and crapey as most powder does. It blends out your makeup so beautifully, giving thsi smooth, blurred, air brushed look to the skin. I think it’s highly underrated or undiscovered considering how much people are particular of their face powder. It works great to set, as a finishing powder and targeting under the eye. Other pressed powders I think are affordable and not as recognized for as great as they are for the same reasons is the Essence Brighten Up, Rimmel Stay Matte (that whole line is phenomenal) and the Nyx finishing powder that I believe was meant to dupe the Nars. I am very curious to know however if this Revolution one is a dupe specifically for the Nars light reflecting pressed powder. TIA!
That revolution liquid highlighter looks terrible and you should be able to apply over other products, especially being a liquid. Glad I passed on that. My daughter and I thought that Rev powder was a highlight too. They need to label them better so it’s identified as a regular pressed powder
