I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, sometimes for 100 days. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it switch, xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, steam, epic, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, usually covering all maps from Island to Fjordur. And one day. ARK 2!

this is how gen 1 and 2 should have been. if they move the genesis missions here, i will be happy because i don't want to do those stupid missions in genesis.
Well it is the easiest map but missions are hard not even worth it for the loot
@Helloeveryone768 point is the missions shouldnt be a requirement to fight rockwell or tame a strider. Getting the mutagen is hard enough

Seriously, I had to mute the ARK subreddit because of the nonstop complaints.
Like I get it, I really do, but I just want to have fun and you can’t even say that without being called a shill or something.
I can complain, cause the update automatically uninstalled all of my mods and ruined my center save I've been playing for the past month.
All of my resources, Gone.
All of my arkology dinos, Gone.
My new max level xiph I just put into cryo last night? Gone.
Half my base (not even modded structures), Gone.
This update has literally destroyed my entire save file without warning.
I CAN complain so IF you can't download the stuff you win to your single player & Unofficial servers What's the point? I play with mods so I mainly play single player 7 was hoping to use these to farm both types of Pearls, but that doesn't seem possible now.
new thing to complain about: I'm trying to make a new character so I can start again and it looks like WC have also completely broken character creation with this one, half the sliders aren't doing a thing
@@kitchengun1175 another thing The Club ARK mod required to use this DISABLES ALL OTHER MODDED ENGRAMS! don't use this crap if you play moded Single Player or other Unofficial moded servers.
This really feels like a great idea, but ill-suited for ARK's engine. Lasso hitting red sheep that are behind you due to poor hitboxes. But maybe with some polish and tweaking it could be a really fun event stuff.
This is actually an amazing idea for genesis. The two maps could be redesigned to be fully buildable and exploratory and a place like this could exist where most missions are accessed.
I honestly love this. They are really hammering it home that they are experimenting with mechanics.
Look at the pyromane and the power rangers.
The pyromane despite all its controversy has tons of new mechanics. Including a much better version of the ferox mechanic.
The power rangers thing is the potential for custom cosmetics. The entire rigging of those creatures is different. The rex being the prime example. Its so differently shaped. Yet it works.
I would like point out something we all know but seem to forget.
ASA is in its 2015 ASE stage. Things are just starting. The early access label is still there.
Wildcard is pretty effectively trying to hammer out all of the old content and bring it to ASA while keeping it interesting for us and improving their mechanics developmens or at least trying new things.
I've just seen a lot of complaints recently and its like. "You're playing an early access game that gets a massive update basically every month. Did you expect it to somehow not be a buggy mess for a year or two?"
Personally i think i like the direction stuff is going currently.

Agree with all points aside from the Pryomane. At the end of the day, it's a price tag for a single creature that gives quite an advantage, and that's a slippery slope. There shouldn't be paywalled creatures in the first place, as with ASE and it's map expansions, you could still tame and own the creatures if you didn't have them via other players or the free maps later down the line. This one straight up prompts you to a store page, I personally don't like that, and it's stated within the fantastic tames to have other's coming along the way. The oasisuar and this are evidence of what crazy things they're allowing to have a price tag, what's to stop them from adding something even more gamebreaking down the line, let alone for a higher price tag?
You make good points, except ASE was a buggy game all throughout its life, and since most of the code was directly importes from there, i believe we can still expect some level of improvement over bugs that have been there since launch

This could be implemented into the game so players can create their own shops and sell it for this currency or rent rooms to keep your stuff in for this cirrency
For anyone asking yes, you can do this in the single player and bring your loot to the other maps, they appear on the obelisk inventory.
You can also cheat the living f out of those missions made for 4 so you can get extra gamba points :)

Ive always wanted PVP options for PVE this seems like the perfrct way to do it without inner tribe battles
Or pve options for pvp. Like the ability to pvp without losing everything is nice. It's what most people want. The ability to fight and not lose everything you built up l.

It goes into the obelisk inventory like how you upload items to take to other maps
This will start to make sense if you can obtain Artefacts there. It would be useful for servers with blocked caves.

Sooo.. what if you play on an unofficial server with friends and what to try get some of this stuff? Can you play it on single player and get the stuff back on your unofficial server? I'll be sad if there is no way for us to take part :(
club ark works on single player, and can be added to unofficial clusters, just install the Club Ark mod and choose that map.

@@alexjean645 Working fine for me, make a server with map set to Bob's missions_WP or whatever it's called, give it same cluster id then just transfer from pause menu in game

You can get the dodos running around the western town hub, they give you currency as well.
I hope that they can retroactively use this phasing tech to make phased mission areas for Genesis 1. Genesis 1 is my favorite ARK after Aberration, but it’s really held back by the limited building space due to all of the mission areas. Genesis 2 had phased missions so it shouldn’t be impossible.
They should combine this with SOTF somehow, or do SOTF with a similar token system where you can buy stuff
Finally a reason to play that mode (and thus for wc to update it)
That would be nice. Transfer your character to sotf win money then go spend it. There should also be pvp servers to transfer stuff from single player build a small base and fight other then go back to your single player server.

Seeing this get me so excited for genesis part 1 missions, I can see them improving them so much with there own areas for missions and tons of new mechanics for them, this is an improvement since the pyromane for sure, glad you can’t buy currency, ark mobile flashbacks came to my mind first!
To be honest? This is nice! Imagine organizing an evening with your friends! Or more evenings! Also, the missions are nice too :D

They need to add a server for people to take stuff on and pvp then go back to their single player server.

Again Wildcard epically fails at another cool idea. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is only available on official servers. I tried downloading the mod to my unofficial private server and it doesn't work. I know the mod page specifically says it can be joined from the pause menu on the official network, but why is it JUST for official servers. That doesn't make any sense. I'd love this whole system in my private servers with my friends they are really cool ideas, but nope wildcard just wants to get people on pay to win official servers with their new dinos and power ranger zords that you can no longer target players on the back of if you have the correct zords. They are continually making my desire to keep playing less and less, and I hate it, cus it's quite literally my favorite game. Their time management and resource management and management in general just sucks.

It went stale real fast lasso games glitches lasso disappears then doesn't allow you to get it back out when trying to use game weapon can take up to 20 seconds before pressing it works. Dodo one doesn't count all the pints. Prizes are crap. It's all just crap.

They spent all this time making this instead of fixing the game? Seriously? I cant transfer anything from map to map. This is useless to me....
They have a big enough team to do both simultaneously. If everybody works on the same bugs, you end up w 'too many cooks in the kitchen' and it just causes further problems. Also, sorry you don't like it, but I love fun silly stuff being added to the game. I think we've needed social interaction options besides 'shoot guy in face and steal his shit' or 'pillar every inch of the map to be an asshole'. Part of the slowness on bugfixes is that UE5 did not ship w some basic features and they're being rolled out slowly over time. Long-term it's a good engine choice, but short term it does suck cuz some shit is just out of their hands.
