@Miguelle Landry is a perfect 10 yes I was 16, I went to school full time and worked full time. I graduated with honors, went on to college and received my degree in business. All the while my future husband supported my dreams and never tried to change my direction. I was also an emancipated young adult. So I was on my own. We dated for three years, got married 2 years before I received my degree. Oh and by the way, the first time we were intimate was on our wedding night. So he was able to wait till I was ready, Great huh? There are different stories for different people, next time maybe ask before you pass judgement on a situation. They met by luck on a app, but they both work hard to talk everyday and save money to meet each other and cultivate the relationship despite the distance. Love doesnt fall on your lap, they both put in time and hard work to reach where they are now at today.

So why not send them overseas? 😂🤣 If his parents shunned her, then they're ultra conservative and refusing to accept her for their son. Usually, Koreans who study overseas are more likely to open to marrying a non-Korean person. I'm Viet in the US and my husband is Korean, who studied here. We met while volunteering at an after-school tutoring program. At first, his grandmother didn't accept me, since there were a lot of Viet girls being married off to Korean men at that time and the news covered it. She thought I was uneducated, poor family, etc. So it took a bit of time convincing her of background and family, and that I wasn'ta gold digger. LOL 😆 His parents were accepting the idea of us since they're pretty open-minded and traveled globally often, so they're used to foreigners. 😂 I hope this couple make up with his parents eventually, maybe after she has a kid. 😌 Grandkids usually turns conservative grandparents around...good luck with everything! 👍

I'm Viet in the US and my husband is Korean, who studied here. We met while volunteering at an after-school tutoring program. At first, his grandmother didn't accept me, since there were a lot of Viet girls being married off to Korean men at that time and the news covered it. She thought I was uneducated, poor family, etc.
So it took a bit of time convincing her of background and family, and that I wasn'ta gold digger. LOL 😆 His parents were accepting the idea of us since they're pretty open-minded and traveled globally often, so they're used to foreigners. 😂
I hope this couple make up with his parents eventually, maybe after she has a kid. 😌 Grandkids usually turns conservative grandparents around...good luck with everything! 👍

He told me that he fell in love at first sight, but I didn’t feel the same way. After that I moved away to N.J. for five years and returned back in 1988. My aunt took me and my sister out on the weekend after getting here and I ran into him and friends. He told me that he had heard that I was back in town and started to pursue me. He waited five years for me and didn’t want to date no one and wouldn’t let any guys talk to me.
