Well Chuck there you go again using dark leather on the black poundo board. Doesn’t the poundo board come in a brown color as well? Please change up the dark color leather over the black poundo board. Us old folks can’t make out the cuts on the black poundo board. If you can’t find a lighter color poundo board then paint one with white Angelus paint! Best regards, Richard
I need to make one of these for my iPad. A question: why didn’t you stitch around the flap? Seems easy enough to do, especially with the machine, and adds a nice accent. Thank you!
You guys turning into mind readers? First the zipper video and now this? I think somebody can look straight into my project list 🤣 what’s next? A video on seam and gusset types for handbags? 😉
I would add a piece of leather to cover the inside rivet caps so they don't scratch the tablet.
A tip for crafters who do not have finger nails. The point of a scratch awl works great to remove the backing of the double sided tape.
If you don’t have fingernails, you should also see a doctor. 😂😂😂

It's really just personal preference! You can absolutely stitch around he flap for aesthetic but not needed for functionality. Hope that helps.

I have been using illustrator to design my patterns. This is even easier. I guess sometimes we over think things. Great job Chuck.
I was hoping you’d use the green! Lovely!
Great looking bag, simple and useful.
