Oh! you're a 1 hand no thumb bowler. 😁That's amazing. Now I have a review channel that I can watch and give me more insight on bowling balls I'm looking at. sweet.
Bowled for the first time on a sport shot, the usbc masters 2024. I average around 220-225 on house, but in my first 3 games I averaged 170. My friend said I could use his ion, so I was like why not. My last three games I shot 254, 221, and 234. I need to get this ball asap lol
If you're asking if this piece is going to maintain this exact shape after months of use, I think the answer for every bowling ball is no. However, there's no way to reasonably test that. FWIW, it could get better, but it could also get worse, but the fundamentals and where I think it works best likely won't shift much.
Frankly speaking, I do not believe the Ion Pro was really designed to be widely used by THS league bowlers. This is truly a tournament ball intended to be thrown on tougher lane conditions when the IQ Tour Edition is not enough ball.
Lol omg if you tried to throw that ball in the gutter it would still find a way to hook left 🤣. This thing is made for like PBA oil-drowned patterns for sure.
Hello Ben, I’m a rev dominant 2 hander who has a proton physix and a spare ball. I’ve been looking to get a ball to compliment the proton, but I’m no sure if I should get a benchmark ball like the Ion, or a pearl ball. If you could give me a few pointers, that would be awesome. Thank you in advance
I wouldn't add an asym if you're rev dominant. Something like an iQ tour ruby, Xponent Pearl or Lightning Blackout would be where my attention would go.
Omg! I was waiting on this review. How would you compare this to the Phaze 2 and other bowling benchmark type bowling balls? Also, i noticed in your video that the ball did a double dribble. Do you think that contributed to the ball hooking sooner than expected?
I'd start by saying the Phaze 2 is better lol. This one is much more like a juiced up iQ tour with a clean look for about half the lane, and then that hook set roll type of shape whereas the phaze 2 tends to blend out friction more evenly. As for the double dribble, if anything, that would make it hook later as the ball can't hook in the air. It only happens for my on HPL lane surfaces, and not all the time either. Not something I really work on, but shouldn't impact the ball motion all that much. Appreciate the questions!
@@bowlersparadise2255 Man this is why i'm subbed! You give great advice and always take time to answer the questions from your loyal subjects...i mean fans lol. Thanks! This actually helped me make a decision on getting the Phaze 2.
@bowlersparadise2255 hi, my bowling ball is tracking over the middle finger where it's just a straight line of oil causing the ball not to hook. What can be the reason for this and how do I fix it?
This is what the people have been waiting for. We can rest easy now.
Time for a nap!
@@bowlersparadise2255 how is it compared to envy tour ?

Appreciate it Brandon!

My next ball is going to be the ion pro. I just got my theorem last week. After the ion i am getting the scorpion strike.

You should just steal his. Clearly it works just right lol.
Now will this ball keep on doing what it's doing..later on down the road..like few months from now...?...just asking

O ok..I have the ion pro...now..and it seems to be strong...but Mt attn star is rolling real good.. thanks for the info
I'm still using the Xponent as my benchmark ball. Think I'll just stick with that.
Wouldn't blame you if you did. Xponent is great.

Maybe. I can't speak to their intent, I can only speak to what I see.

@bowlersparadise do you think that the ion pro will replace the Phaze 2?

How would you compare the Ion Pro to the Black Venom and the Blue Coral Venom?
This one is definitely way closer to the black venom than the blue coral. Weak core, strong cover, lots of pop off the spot.
@@bowlersparadise2255 how does the blue coral compare for you? JR seemed to say the opposite
The Blue Coral is 2 full zones weaker than this one.
Much appreciated, thanks!
Thanks for this review. Are you going to review the X-cell also?
Same Question Here! Can’t wait to watch.
I have to use thehype & Ben's reviews, there's no 2handed reviewers out there 😭
Ben is the only Two Finger no Thumb bowler like my self who does review so I def understand 😂😂
Yes that will be out next week!
👍👍👍
Hi, if i wanted a 45 x 4.5 x 30 layout. What would that be in 2ls?
I believe there is a dependency on your personal PAP for that distinction. Just lay out the ball in dual angle, then convert and see where you're at.
@bowlersparadise2255 hi, my bowling ball is tracking over the middle finger where it's just a straight line of oil causing the ball not to hook. What can be the reason for this and how do I fix it?
Not flaring is due to an improper layout. The over the fingers part is a release issue that is way too complicated to fix in a RUclips comment lol.
Can I add this ball to my bag? I have the iq your solid and 900 global xponent
I'd probably look at something different like an optimum idol pearl or iQ tour ruby, but that's just me.
@@bowlersparadise2255 I q tour ruby, how much different is it than my I q tour in my nine hundred global?
Intense Mindset not Infinite Mindset Ben. 😂😂
Definitely realized that after I published lol. I blame Simon Sinek (The Infinite Game if you’re curious)
