Let's be honest, this young man has fabulous hair to work with and Dan is a wizard with his scissor work and razor. It is fantastic how he gets what his client wants and translates it perfectly.
yes. facts are this guy would look better than most people going to the cheapest stylist. dan still did great job but this guy is easy to work on.
I love Dan's humanity, how he really cares about his clients. Also love to see this side of men, talking to each other - healthy masculinity at it's finest. I watch these videos when I want to relax :-)
We talk to each other all the time. We just don't show it to our opposite types. It's a masculine thing.

@@Brad_Whitley While I'm here, I'll give an idea - Castor Oil is excellent for hair care and growth, rub it well in to the scalp after rubbing between palms. It's very difficult to wash out of hair, so wouldn't use it as a conditioner to saturate hair.

Always fascinating to see how Dan reveals what is actually the best for his (lucky) clients. This guy is already great looking with hair most of us would be happy with but then to make it just that much better and make the client that much more confident and happy, It takes real mastery of technique AND the interpersonal skills. Great job, Dan.

To be fair this dude has ridiculously good hair genetics. He's like one of those Slikhaar twins who got famous doing videos trying hair products when in fact anything they put in their hair looks good and had little to do with the product.
Dan did a very good job but remember majority of you will never have hair like him. I saw some comments saying this is the best job Dan has done but I disagree. To me a stylist shows their true skills when they are dealing with bigger issues like flat fine hair, lower density and transforming people who come in which Dan has done as well. Guys like this are a cake walk for a stylist compared to others.
agreed. this guy looked better walking into the shop than most people look walking out of the shop. analogy of this would be comparing the tailoring end results between a 6'2" 180lb guy with a modelling frame wearing a $5000 Tom Ford suit VS a 5'6" overweight guy wearing a $100 Mens warehouse special.
assuming both guys walk into the world's greatest tailor the end results are still always going to look completely different. a tailor can only work with what has. same thing with hair. this is why people leave disappointed all the time because they show the stylist a picture of dicpraio from the 90s and come out looking like nothing like that. a good hair stylist will explain to them the limitations of the request and try to solve the issues they have.
So true. Dan has had challenging haircuts in the past, but seems to do works of art with many.
I am female and have long, thick hair, still at 67. I can't get a good haircut to save my life! I'm back to just letting it grow long again.

So much more enjoyable and relaxing to watch a non-clippers cut. Tired of the fades, tapers etc.
To be fair not many people have hair like that or can wear it longer in such a style.
Fades should be over after about ten years..

The way you started to cut his hair by pulling the hair out from the scalp between your fingers is what I learned from you. I've been chopping on my hair for a couple of years. Last night I used this method on my hair. It's the best haircut I've had in over 2 years. If only I could stand behind myself to cut the back!😅
