The rope was tied to the winch. All he did was add weight to winch the bucket down. My issue is he must have really heavy shoes to winch the bucket down.

Anju Jain I agree that his body weight would be far greater than a couple of shoes, but if he was able to grab the rope and drag it till the rope was in its full length, if then the attachment point of the rope was solid enough for his weight, he could climb up. (my English vocabulary coming up short on this explanation, but I tried my best)

The easiest riddle for me was the one with Karen Paul and Donna because the first thing that I noticed was that there was 3 people there so that's how I knew it had to be Paul who agrees ????
The third one dosent make sense because there would be 6 left bc first it said 3 had swum away but they can’t go anywhere 2 they said 4 had died so u take 4 away from ten which leaves u with 6 and the last one said 1 had drowned fish can’t drown so your left with 6 fish 🐠
Actually based on the wording on Riddle #2, the correct answer is 43,060. If this was a proper riddle, and not just "mental math." The phrasing of 'Add 1000 to 40' would give you 40,000, then from there everything adds up to 43,060. Thats a fun riddle :)
It's not 40,000, you're not multiplying it you're adding it. Adding 40 to 1,000 is the exact same as adding 1,000 to 40. Multiplication is the same both ways as well. Division however isn't, 1,000/40=25 and 40/1,000=0.04 Simple primary school math.

And thereafter he put his whole weight on the bucket or the rope holding the bucket, but it remained as it was and he climbed up. Its beyond the gravitation rule, I think Newton just bluffed
