I love them explaining the premise of the first movie at the beginning lol!!! T2 was my all time favorite movie right behind Conan the barbarian. These guys should see one of Arnold's motivational speeches on success!!!!
I like how these guys voice all the reasoning we went through when we first watched the movie decades ago. Their background as villagers in India has not hampered their understanding in any way. And they communicate that very well.
This film contained all the fears and issues of the time, annihilation, futility, lack of fathers, broken families...it moulded a generation over here.
I was a little boy when I first saw Terminator 2. I've always loved that movie, even though when I was younger I didn't understand it all, not having seen the first one. Even today, at almost 40, I still enjoy seeing it. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a wonderful actor and person. James Cameron is a genius director. It's easy to forget how far ahead of its time the technology and visual effects in this film were, and it's good to hear Babu reminding us of that. Thank you for making me see this film again through your eyes.
Interesting how the oldest man understood with clarity the film even though he is more removed from technology. Excellent observation by the elder of the three.
Canadian director James Cameron (The Terminator, Terminator 2, Titanic, Avatar, Aliens, The Abyss) is well known for cutting edge visuals and effects technology (VFX). In 1984 The Terminator pushed the boundaries of VFX, but in 1991, thanks to a small group of people flying by the seat of their pants just to see what would work, Terminator 2 (T2) redefined what VFX could do and changed the industry forever. T2 was the first film to feature a computer generated (CGI) main character, the T-1000. In collaboration with George Lucas’s Industrial Light and Magic, an American motion picture VFX company, Cameron developed the first-of-its-kind Motion Capture process before the concept really existed to bring the T-1000 to life on the big screen. Imagine what our superhero and MCU movies would be like today without Motion Capture technology. It took 35 people 10 months to create the VFX in T2. But despite the large amount of time spent, the CGI sequence amounted to only five minutes of screen time. But it was well worth it because the VFX team won the 1992 Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
It was very clear the reaction they would have to see this magnificent film. I think they are ready to see "Alien" and especially the second movie "Aliens", with a very strong woman as the hero. All the best

@@LittleBlueOwl318 I know the saw it, that was the point. But I have never heard them name the director or say it was the same as for another film. I'd like it on camera.
@@Steppenkater My point was that Titanic is completely different genre than T1 and T2 is. That was what I'd be interested in seeing their thoughts about.
The thing that I love about this movie, Linda Hamilton lost the message, the terminator learned the message, Sarah Conner almost becomes a terminator, to kill because it "must be done". the 👍 that the villagers give was so great. You guys are always welcome at our family's fire.
The _Terminator_ series was based on the story _Demon With a Glass Hand_ by Harlan Ellison. Ellison, being Ellison, was infuriated that he was not credited for the inspiration.
So loved seeing you watch this movie,..when it came out, groundbreaking special effects, they won an Oscar award for it, I am a science fiction buff, love when movies like this are recognized on the world stage for their excellence in filmaking,..science fiction hasn't always had that recognition, yess this was over 30 years ago,..but 2001 Space Odyssey was almost 60 years ago, the director Stanley Kubrick had extraordinary vision like the director of the Terminator movies, James Cameron, they both did groundbreaking work in film, filmaking never before done, also Ridley Scott 👏, and Uncle?, I've heard the younger men call him that,..you are sharp as a tac, meaning you had the plot, and the way it was played hands down, and you even pointed out ideas I hadn't thought of, it is interesting that the terminators and Kyle Reese, the human protector from the first movie, arriving naked when being transported, and it is interesting, we humans, all come into the world as babies naked, it makes your mind go round and round when you think of it,..so love your outlook on these movies,..wonderful, makes us see these movies with new eyes, even though probably most of us have seen these various movies, probably even a hundred times over the years,..do keep goung there is a couple of other Terminator movies, Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines, and Terminator Salvation, both have different plots, the timelines of the boy who was saved are different, in one(Salvation), it focuses more on him as an adult in the future, commanding the resistance against the machines, Skynet, both movies to me are good,..you make up your minds and see, I think you will be intrigued,..Godspeed, Peace ✌
For anyone wondering, the T-1000 poly-mimetic alloy is vulnerable to freeze damage, intense heat, (these 2 as shown will mess with the copying or may melt it) very potent acids, Kings water, and loss of mass through various means (as you saw, getting shot off, each atom is also a means of aiding computation). They all come naked because the time displacement device will not allow pure inorganic matter to be displaced not for machines to be transferred. The skin is not just to aid infiltration but also to cheat the time displacement device, older models lacking skin or with rubber skin such as the T-600 will blow the machine up.
I knever knew till watching this even though Ive seen it many times that the liquid metal was damaged by the freezing and shattering,he became more liquid than solid after the event, I can't believe I never spotted that, seeing his hand on the rail stretch like that, I just never noticed it. Anyway thanks for another great video reaction.
Fun fact Patrick played T1000 was in track and they had to reshoot his chase scenes because he would actually catch up with the bike. He had to slow down. Lol Also the pilot of the helicopter actually flew it under that bridge! They don't make movie like this anymore.
Whew! I was a little concerned honestly because of the violence, but this movie doesn't have needless gore or anything. The sheer ride of T2 is worth it, I think, and the messages are so powerful. I am really glad that they liked it! I would suggest the Alien/Aliens movies because of the strong female lead, but that might be too much gore, don't know what they would like. Thanks for showing this!
Terminator: $6 million dollar budget Terminaror 2: $100 million dollar budget. You can definitely see the diference in the writing and production quality. James Cameron is a genius. I cracked up on the "Sky Naked" part xD Love the reactions do Independence Day!!
Would be interesting a behind the Szenes from making terminator 2 reaction, its very interesting how it was made by itself.
T2 Is my all time favourite film. I love peoples reactions when they learn the T-800 is the saviour.
18:52 I'm sorry, I laughed when Babu said "aha aha".
This film contained all the fears and issues of the time, annihilation, futility, lack of fathers, broken families...it moulded a generation over here.
Add to that the dangers of AI and it's still a powerful movie today.
That was fun. Cool to watch. I look for any reason to watch this movie again. You guys were fun; good observations...
I love that they enjoy these "old" movies. I would LOVE to see them react to The Wizard of Oz!!
It was very clear the reaction they would have to see this magnificent film.
I think they are ready to see "Alien" and especially the second movie "Aliens", with a very strong woman as the hero.
All the best
Babu is super insightful, and also that he’s in love with Linda Hamilton is great, we all are haha
I've been a subscriber from the beginning. Really, this guys are underrated. The Common Man Show should have at least 1 million subscribers. It's like seeing the world from the eyes of a child, but realizing that they are way smarter than you.
41:35 Everyone with a soul would cry at the end of Terminator 2 when watching it for the first time, don’t make fun of Babu!
Is Babu the one in the middle or the elder man?
@@UtopiaBlue68 The elderly gentleman on the left who is getting teary-eyed when Arnold is being lowered into the molten metal.
Great reaction! You should have told the the director also made Titanic. That would probably have surprised them!
I think they know that already - they just watched Titanic a week ago and the first Terminator the week before that. They also watched Avatar a few months ago. They're getting to be quite familiar with James Cameron movies.
@@LittleBlueOwl318 I know the saw it, that was the point. But I have never heard them name the director or say it was the same as for another film. I'd like it on camera.
Better tell them that the same director made Avatar which is even more impressive
@@Steppenkater My point was that Titanic is completely different genre than T1 and T2 is. That was what I'd be interested in seeing their thoughts about.
@@rasmuslernevall6938 Okay, I see your point.
The background music is good too.
YES YES YES!!
"Death clad in steel, robed in flames." James Cameron's fever nightmares brought to screen.
This is one of my all time favourite reaction videos. Love it. Bring on Terminator three.
The thing that I love about this movie, Linda Hamilton lost the message, the terminator learned the message, Sarah Conner almost becomes a terminator, to kill because it "must be done".
the 👍 that the villagers give was so great.
You guys are always welcome at our family's fire.
The "He is made of aluminium" got me. :)
The _Terminator_ series was based on the story _Demon With a Glass Hand_ by Harlan Ellison. Ellison, being Ellison, was infuriated that he was not credited for the inspiration.
Seriously, I think Ellison was infuriated by daylight. I've read some of his fiction and it's nonstop anger.
The actress Linda Hamilton born 1956 is the same age as Babu today. Give her a call Babu :)
I dont think ive ever seen this version before where the liquid metal terminator glitches like that around 37:29
Best movie ever. Enjoyed your reaction after watching your first one days ago!
So loved seeing you watch this movie,..when it came out, groundbreaking special effects, they won an Oscar award for it,
I am a science fiction buff, love when movies like this are recognized on the world stage for their excellence in filmaking,..science fiction hasn't always had that recognition, yess this was over 30 years ago,..but 2001 Space Odyssey was almost 60 years ago, the director Stanley Kubrick had extraordinary vision like the director of the Terminator movies, James Cameron, they both did groundbreaking work in film, filmaking never before done, also Ridley Scott 👏, and Uncle?, I've heard the younger men call him that,..you are sharp as a tac, meaning you had the plot, and the way it was played hands down, and you even pointed out ideas I hadn't thought of, it is interesting that the terminators and Kyle Reese, the human protector from the first movie, arriving naked when being transported, and it is interesting, we humans, all come into the world as babies naked, it makes your mind go round and round when you think of it,..so love your outlook on these movies,..wonderful, makes us see these movies with new eyes, even though probably most of us have seen these various movies, probably even a hundred times over the years,..do keep goung there is a couple of other Terminator movies, Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines, and Terminator Salvation, both have different plots, the timelines of the boy who was saved are different, in one(Salvation), it focuses more on him as an adult in the future, commanding the resistance against the machines, Skynet, both movies to me are good,..you make up your minds and see, I think you will be intrigued,..Godspeed, Peace ✌
22:52 "Seeing how powerful he is, I would say that only God can kill him" ... something about that line is awesome 😅 it needs to go in a movie
Fun fact Patrick played T1000 was in track and they had to reshoot his chase scenes because he would actually catch up with the bike. He had to slow down. Lol Also the pilot of the helicopter actually flew it under that bridge! They don't make movie like this anymore.
Linda Hamilton/Terminator Exclusive facts you didn't know -

The kid burning in the dream it's a bit pointless for nowadays standards but yea that's pretty much the only thing, Robocop is much worst 😅
They just barely made through the gore in Predator. I think they can handle Alien/Aliens with some courage.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. A top 5 film in my book.
Great reaction of an epic movie. Thank your very much
Terminator: $6 million dollar budget
Terminaror 2: $100 million dollar budget.
You can definitely see the diference in the writing and production quality. James Cameron is a genius. He's created some of the greatest films of the past 30 years. Of course he had a much smaller budget in the first movie, but the sky was the limit in this movie:
