Yes! Everyone focuses on Abed and Troy, and they're great together don't get me wrong. But the Jeff and Abed friendship is the best in this show.

@@matthewzeller5026 I went back and listened to it a few times. I'm pretty sure that's not Harmon's voice. He is center frame in the writer's room at the end of that episode though; and it is him reading the message that ends the final episode.

@@tempsitch5632 I'm 100% sure about the show-ending monologue. That's Harmon. He talked about it on Harmontown (his old podcast) once iirc, but after listening to his voice for hundreds of hours I'd spot it anywhere. I really did think that was him in the writers room scene too, but I wasn't looking closely. You're totally right. It's an actor looking like a frazzled Harmon, but definitely not him.
Now this is a woman who knows how to react to Community!
One of the greatest sitcom finales ever in my opinion.

There was a cast reunion, a zoom table read of the Pierce will reading episode during lockdowns and it was so good! Definitely recommend watching it even if not as a reaction

At the end of the day, Jeff's most important relationship in the group is the one with Abed, imho. He's also the first character he interacts with in the first episode. I cry every single time I see him go back to a second hug in the last episode, and I cried this time as well. Congratulations for your baby and thanks for Community Mondays, I truly enjoyed watching my favourite sitcom again "by your side". Love by Italy :)

After Community, Danny Pudi (Abed) did get a job on a show set in a video game studio ("Mythic Quest"). But it was for Apple TV, not Fox. It's actually really funny.

Discovered this channel not long after losing my friend and it was one of the things that helped distract me, community modnays was a part of that will miss them for sure but will anticipate everything that's next 😊

This show finished of on such a strong note with 3 episodes that are all peak Community. First we got a great final paintball episode with “Modern Espionage”, then with “Wedding Videography” we both got an hilarious episode but also one I think is lovely cuz we got to see the gang just have so much fun together one last time and finally the finale which perfectly ends the show with an emotional yet also very unique and meta episode
I know what you mean about not feeling like it would end! Community's humor and comfort has this feeling of always being there, and I get this dread in my stomach when I watch the finale. Those early seasons are so long too, so much content, and then it all just fades away.....

Garret's brother "bones," who gets too drunk to be the best man at the wedding, has the same nickname as Dan Harmon's brother. "Bones."
It's also a well-known fact that he has an inc*st fetish. He talked about it extensively in Harmontown. Also, he gave a speech about TV that was pretty much Abed's monologue about TV during the finale.
And there is the amazing ending. Makes me laugh and cry every time I watch it. We only got this far because of the commitment and intensity of the show's fans. Now we wait for the movie. :)

If you want to watch more comedy I can recommend Arrested Development. It's very similar to community with its' trope parody, long running gags, etc.

I've been putting off watching this video all week because I didn't want it to end. I can't believe you had to censor the I-word, by the way.
You may have noticed that Danny Pudi (Abed) wasn't shown in the wedding episode. He was sick that week and couldn't be there for filming, so we only hear his voice, which was added later.
Also, Garrett's wife was played by Dan Harmon's then-wife. Their marriage was short-lived. In _Rick and Morty,_ you can see how the divorce affected Dan.
In the final episode, Abed choked up during his speech about TV. That wasn't intentional-Danny was actually holding back tears.
In the board game commercial tag of the final episode, the voiceover was performed by Dan Harmon himself.
Community is such an amazing show, and I'm glad it brought us together. Your laugh was a great way to start the week, and I kept learning new tidbits about the show from the people in the comments. Thank you for these videos and the hard work that went into them. I'm going to miss these popping up in my feed every Monday, but I'm still here for _Lost_ and the other things you have in store.

Abed described his new job on a show like 30 Rock meets IT Crowd set in a video game studio, which kinda describes Mythic Quest that Danny Pudi is on (great show)

Joel McHale was in Spider-man 2, he was in a dumb Marvel movie before the other cast members (Gillian and Alison are the last two who need to be in Marvel, Gillian was in Choke directed by Agent Coulson, Alison is married to Dave Franco, brother of James, so she had Marvel connections).
There are some Dr Ken episodes that feature Community alum.
6x12 is a classic though, not least the Garrett game and Elroy's addiction.
