Pls ma how did d 25inches n 42 inches come in in d peplum cos ur waist is 38 n minusing halfcut should b 20inces left a bit confused.later on u used both 6.5 inches n 8.5 inches at d same time
Didn’t mean to confuse you😅. I made the peplum width 42 inches instead of the 38 inches waist circumference to accommodate the zip allowance, the more the merrier in case you need to open open if it’s too tight. 25 inches is the length of the blouse . If you substract the half length from the full length, you will need 6.5 inches for the peplum but because of sewing allowance I decided to make it 8.5 inches , which can be trimmed after turning the peplum with the lining . This is to avoid having too little to work with. I hope this clarifies it, if not let me know and I can still help😇👍
I used 9 inches after sewing it becomes 8 inches, . You can check my video on how to cut a perfect armhole. It gives you a clearer idea of my proven method 😇.
There is a standard size chart you can download online. But you can get your waist size by just taking a tape round the smallest part of your waist. You can Check out my video on how to take measurement .I hope this answers your question.?
@@queenraphaelobuseh5543 I used a size 14 measurements but whatever measurement you decide to use just divide bust waist and hip by 4. Then shoulder and round sleeves by 2
Nice video ma. Please I would like to ask. I sew a peplum top and the back bodice (halfcut) seems to be longer than the front despite cutting them equally. What is the fault
If you watched this particular peplum tutorial you will notice I cut my back 1 inch shorter than the front. This makes it sit well. Because the bust lifts the front piece and the back its flat. So follow this method and you should be fine.
thanks I followed this method for the bodice. I made a flare dress. I cut 1 inch from the back, then I had issues with joining the flare with the bodice because the front was longer than the back. When I joined them together and wore it the front seem collapsed, uneven and the back was standing.
Thanks for the explanation l can understand how to cut the peplum blouse

So detailed thank you ma
Ma pls is the shoulder divided by 4 or 2
Shoulder is always divided by 2 then bust and waist by 4
Thanks for this tutorial ma, hope there won't be any difficulty joining the bodice to the peplum since the front is longer than the back?
It’s just an inch shorter but the sides must be even ‘ so it won’t make any difference dear.
Thanks for d tutorial ma. But u only mentioned d full length of the Ankara u cut out 4 the top which is 19 and half but u didn't mention the width.
Please for the shoulder and armhole , am I to divide by 2 or 4???
Divide by 2 then add 1 inch sewing allowance
Ur good keep it up😂
Thanks

Why is the back side shorter than the front 🤔
To eliminate fold at the back of your blouse
Pls how did u get d armholes to be 8 or 9
It's a tested and trusted formula. Your size determines the depth of your armhole. Please watch my video on how to cut the perfect armhole. 😇💐
How did you get the armhole,u measured?
I used 9 inches after sewing it becomes 8 inches, . You can check my video on how to cut a perfect armhole. It gives you a clearer idea of my proven method 😇.
Thanks
You are welcome xx
Pls ma, how did u get the 8 for peplum
Do you mean the armhole?
No ma, the flare u used. I understood the smaller part u threw away but the bigger flare u used is what I don't understand
Ho did you get your waist size?
