It's a shame on the metal community that they didn't break massively. Loved them since I heard the first three chords of Valhalla, then Midnight started singing... Wow!
Midnight sears the heavens with his high octane wail! His voice always reminded me of a mix of Warrel Dane and Lizzy Borden with tinges of Geoff Tate and King Diamond, yet all his own.
great comment! I love Lizzy Borden but I feel like he has a great voice, but sometimes not the greatest structured songs? I don't know if that makes sense or not.
Great band I was a roadie for crimson in the early years though transcendence good friends and I still am great friends with Ben Jackson 🤘🤘🎸 RIP Midnight 🙏
Hell yeah high powered heavy metal slap in the face 😂 glad you liked it!! The whole album is amazing, definitely check it out. I prefer it over the second one - they went a lot more technical. Either way Midnight was amazing! RIP 🤘 If you haven't checked out early Agent Steel I'd recommend also - Skeptics apocalypse & unstoppable force both killer albums, amazing hight vocals too.
Dude, great choice. Being a fan of KISS since birth, CGlory’s masks pulled me in. I love your musical kaleidoscope. A band that would go well with CGlory is HAVEN. You have to do a song called ‘Below the Grave’ by them. HAVEN is another band that deserved more recognition. Didn’t get it because they’re Christians. God bless and Metal on!
From the first album I was hooked on Crimson Glory. Midnight's voice was like no other I had ever heard. Sad that CG didn't hit the big times. Here's are two alternatives to Dragon Lady: Live ruclips.net/video/yN0uum9XuB0/видео.html And With Todd La Torre (Who was added as CGs new singer but after recording a demo was recruited to be Queensryches new singer) ruclips.net/video/0uAlfHGnAv8/видео.html
Midnight, one of a kind. Like Freddie Mercury.

I wore this record out!
There's another band like this called Screamer they only made one album called Target Earth then years later in the 2010's made one more album.

The chorus is absolutely perfect
I love Crimson Glory!

They were Amazing
Midnight RIP
Todd le torre from Queensryche sang w them after midnight
You've gotta do Lost Reflections at some point, the ballad that made CG special
Almost sounds like early Flotsam & Jetsam. Always knew of them but nobody in my circle listened to them. 🤟🤟☕️🫖
Perfect!
Midnight hit notes only dogs could hear.

This was "decently OK" for me....loved the throwback sound but otherwise was not 100% overly enthralled.....
