These are beautiful, I love the last one. I finally got some cans, from my Thanksgiving meal. We don't eat a whole lot of canned food, but I wanted some big cans....finally, I got a couple, from my pumpkin and my sweet potatoes. So, now, I can finally make a couple can crafts. This would work for those, too, I think.

When you added the flowers on the jar are you putting the modge podge underneath and then also on top at the same time? Then do you poly over it later? The last jar is stunning!
I do put a little tiny bit of mod podge on top then finish it off with poly acrylic on top of everything ! Thanks for watching Michele

Recently, but already more than 1 week ago, I made home-made white chalk paint. more or less according to your recipe. 1 painted 5 glass jars with it (two coatings) It turned out quite well. I'm pleased with the result. Now I should do the next step, put some graphics on it and then seal it with water based poly acrylic.
There is still a left over of the chalk paint. Can I still use it after more than one week? Should I add a little bit of water or is it better to throw it away?
It will save for a little bit if you store in a tightly sealed container in a dark spot. If it thickens a bit you can add a bit of water before you use again. Glad it worked well for you
@@OurUpcycledLife Thanks for your quick response. Maybe I'm lucky then. The container with the rest paint is quite firmly closed and I put it in a closed
cupboard. On the other hand, it's nearly three weeks already. (November, 9th, I just found out)

You are genius, I have been meaning to reach out to you because you’re so creative and the first person I thought of on how and what I could do with all of my boyfriends plastic Instant Folgers Coffee containers. They’re really nice containers with flip tops. I really hate to throw them away, and I’m sure there’s a really good useful purpose for them. I’ve seen what you’ve done with the folders can. They come in many sizes. We always buy the large size which holds only 12 ounces of coffee, but that’s because it’s so light, the container is the size of a 32 ounce cup. Any ideas 💡

Hi been trying out the mason jar crafts with acrylic spray paint. But every time after drying it peels off. What can i use to coat it, to help it not peel

How do you decide which transfer method to use? Water vs reverse text, etc? Just preference ?

When you use the water application of your graphic, do you have to let that graphic dry before you seal it thank you

@6:43 the second technique you did , you said you used INK JET can I do this on my laser printer
It can be done on a ink jet or laser jet ! Better results with a laser if you have one though. Thanks for watching

Not that I know if that’s the only product that I have used
Have ever repurposed glass coffee pots? I have to where the makers broke. I usually donate to the thrift store but thought maybe it could use a face lift or repurposed into something besides a pot holder or to plant. Have looked on Pinterest and searched RUclips but have found nothing on glass coffee pots. Maybe there is a reason I don't know about, but I can't be the only person who thought about it. Anyway just wondered if you had ever considered coffee pots in your crafting stash 😊

It is not completely waterproof
Can you use tissue paper like the single ply napkin in the printer yathink? For the life of me, with no nails at all, I cannot get the napkins pulled apart, grrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm going to try - I'll let you know.
Yes you sure can I find tissue paper is a bit thicker though so you might see around the edges
Is there a reason to use baking soda paint instead of chalk paint?
Baking soda paint is a bit more grainy and isn't quite as durable as chalk paint. It is really just depends on project and the look I want with what I make

My printer keeps jamming with the napkin. I taped it to a paper all around but just gets jammed
Oh no! Maybe your printer is just extra sensitive
Mine did this too, so I ditched the tape and just lightly smeared a glue stick around the edges, but ever so lightly. ☺
