It’s always electrical it seems nowadays on these electronics that manage everything. Glad you found it. I was driving a new truck about 25years ago, I turned the engine off and went to sleep, woke up, turned the ignition on NOTHING. Every nut on the batteries were maybe finger tight. Factory oversight. So I always like you do, go to the source. Thanks for sharing
Consider the power relay in the fusebox. I dont remember exactly what the name is but it has power in the desciption. After so many cycles the coils start to overheat and stays stuck. Also the fusebox screws needs spacers 1/8 is fine. After so many years of tension the green and yellow datalink wires going to all ecm's in that area start to give out. Luckily you got rolling again.
Unfortunately driver I had the same issue with my 2007 vnl780 and it came out to be the ECU. After replacing it works great. The issue is the that main engine harness gets oil in it that travels to the ECU and fries it. It gonna shut completely off and it won’t crank.
First time I've ever seen one come loose. The battery got loose and was moving around. Some of the roads I go down make you think you're riding a rodeo bull with all the jerkin and bouncing. I've had a few cell phone holders and cup holders break off the dash before as well as some broken shock mounts and shock ends.
Man my damn volvo is doing this but my turns off and batteries light comes on I think is the damn ecu cable but ama check the fuse too and the cable of the fuse

Yep, only thing I could think of with all the random codes all of a sudden
Great job! Really good investigative skills :-)
Glad you got it all squared away, similar issues with my truck, thankful for your video, at least I know where to start looking
Man i really appreciate this video, wow! That was a good one.
More fun times in trucking 😂
That lil fuse will cause SCR codes too I HAD THIS ISSUE shit I still do a lil …

Well done.
Nice catch ,saved your self a few dollar's that's for sure.
good job be safe
Hi had the same problem.. I had to replace the ECM and harness
Hi Chase
I'd be using some threadlocker on the battery terminal threads. Why the wire harness was not in a protective loom is odd.
