The way they got reated by their old agency is still got me shocked (but now, i think they're still an independent) How does their agency did not paid them for 3 years?! No, that’s actually a miscommunication. Their request to have a break in their contract while they are in deliberation was denied. No final decision about whether they are free from their company or not has been made yet.

Sophia The other channel and accounts is under their agency. They made new accounts (The Rose Sound) so they still can interact with us. They made this new channel so they can upload this MV. Right now, they’re not yet totally free from the company as the case is still ongoing, and we’re still waiting for official updates from them.

X xt yes you’re right. They have an ongoing lawsuit case with their agency. It got denied days after this song was released. The Rose immediately filed for an appeal. No updates yet. Slowly, Black Rose song was removed from all str34ming platforms except here. Now, 3/4 of the members are now serving in the military. It’s the best decision I guess while still waiting for the court’s final decision. Whatever happens, they’ll come back to us on 2022.

Then all of them shared a photo of a document talking about other stuff. Some of it was the crazy busy tour shedule, things they didn't feel were discussed properly etc. So mistreatment. The company fired back. They started claiming the guys were lying. They also started to spread the new about them doing stuff not under contract and "meeting up with women"... clearly trying to get the focus off of themselves and having bad focus on the guys; What they did not expect probably is that The Black Roses would fight back and actually applaud for the boys dating! we were like 'omg the rose and women?? GO GET EM BOYS'... we litterally don't care, we want to see them happy...; They filed a lawsuit against their company.... and the company fought back by wanting money for like, image damaging or smth? (I'm having a blackout on the right terms here)...in the end we never got a proper, official statement saying if they won the case or not? Everythign just went totally silent for... like months! The instagram images were deleted (about the issues).... and the first thing we heard since all of that (next to a picture here and there right before that) was that Dojoon was going to the military.... that's when The rose started to share more with us again and the radio silence stopped... X xt yes you’re right. They have an ongoing lawsuit case with their agency. It got denied days after this song was released. The Rose immediately filed for an appeal. No updates yet. Slowly, Black Rose song was removed from all str34ming platforms except here. Now, 3/4 of the members are now serving in the military. It’s the best decision I guess while still waiting for the court’s final decision. Whatever happens, they’ll come back to us on 2022.

I'm new to The Rose, I mean really new lol 5months into Kdrama, 3months or so fan of BTS and probably just a month that I heard the first song by The Rose and loved it! I love the few songs I've heard so far so just starting to learn more about them. Now question... are they all in the military now? all 4 of them? When I looked up The Rose online it said they're an independent group... wait I'll share it here... "The Rose (더로즈) consists of 4 members: Hajoon, Woosung, Dojoon, and Jaehyung. The band debuted under J&Star Company on August 3rd, 2017 with their single ‘Sorry’. The Rose is currently an independent group following the members’ request of their contract’s termination due to mismanagement." From what you said, I definitely understand the mismanagement! I hope when they're out of the military they either sign up with a decent agency or stay independent... I believe fans can help to some extent making them more popular, but at some point they'll need some help with promotions, etc.

The first thing we heard was a statement of them not being paid properly for the past 3 years since debut. Then all of them shared a photo of a document talking about other stuff. Some of it was the crazy busy tour shedule, things they didn't feel were discussed properly etc. So mistreatment.
The company fired back. They started claiming the guys were lying. They also started to spread the new about them doing stuff not under contract and "meeting up with women"... clearly trying to get the focus off of themselves and having bad focus on the guys; What they did not expect probably is that The Black Roses would fight back and actually applaud for the boys dating! we were like 'omg the rose and women?? GO GET EM BOYS'... we litterally don't care, we want to see them happy...;
They filed a lawsuit against their company.... and the company fought back by wanting money for like, image damaging or smth? (I'm having a blackout on the right terms here)...in the end we never got a proper, official statement saying if they won the case or not? Everythign just went totally silent for... like months!
The instagram images were deleted (about the issues).... and the first thing we heard since all of that (next to a picture here and there right before that) was that Dojoon was going to the military.... that's when The rose started to share more with us again and the radio silence stopped...
Then suddenly... everywhere 'the rose sound' social media accounts were made and the members unfillowed the old 'the rose' accounts....To us black rose... we suspect this means they got out of the company, they are free!!? --- not long after the new acc..; we got the new se were getting a gift... this is the gift!

People have been sleeping on them. I've been a Black Rose for two years now and I regret nothing except for the fact that I haven't found them sooner. The Rose filed a lawsuit against their company, J&Star Company a few months ago due to mistreatment claiming they’d been overworked and hadn’t been paid for several years. The Rose left soon after, and have been without a company since then. Later, in an instagram post, they asked Black Rose (their fandom), to wait for them. Dojoon enlisted in the military on 6 June, however The Rose have gotten new social media accounts (you can find them in the comment section of their Kprofile) and they have a new YT channel called The Rose Sound.
