Lee zii jia beat his fellow Malaysian to enter quater. Better luck next time Ex Malaysian that represents tiny/ microscopic nation of Singapore. My advice come back to play as a Malaysian in BAM may be they have more sparring partners and better coaches to help you.

Too much confidence by LKY . The Lesson which you hard to learn. Think about your unforced errors every game . You play like teasing your opponent which make them more confident against you, which I call it “ Stupid Strategy “. You not play against kids just graduated from badminton academy.
LKY lost to his own mistakes. When there are over 10 points lost on mistakes alone it means his training on accuracy and concentration has failed.

LKY level is so low now. At this rate, he should dropped out of top 20. He killed his own games with all the unforced errors. He is not utilising his power smashes often, preferring to play all the drop shots. Not sure is himself or the coach instructed him.
Lky is a talented player just like Sri kanth kidambhi, Kanthapon wangcharoen and Jeon heok jin. But the problem talent isn't enough to bring a player to its full potential. For example Lin Dan , Peter Gade and Taufik hidayat is more talented than Lee chong wei. But Why Lin Dan is the only one that can beat Lee chong wei more often than those two players ? It's because of his training. Lcw level is lower than both Taufik and Peter yet he can able to beat them? It's all about coaching.
I think the whole SBA leadership is scratching their heads, but it boils down to 2 person.. Director of Coaching/Badminton n the coach. Like it or not LKY was a world champion not so long ago, so it is only responsible to train him to meet that calibre of play. No excuse. There must be accountability as well to ensure he gets out of his "mood play and immaturity on court ".
Look at Shi, Ginting. J.Christine, Li, Vitidsarn, Sen, Axelsen...the way they managed their emotion when making an error or hit a good shot...under pressure yet counter w a strategy.
I know LKY is fast but there are at least 5 categories to be a complete player. Stop making silly errors is not even in the category.
There is still enough time for Paris but it has to change now or SBA need to ................

Loh Kean Yew deserves to lose. I have been following his play since his victory at the world championships. At least on court, his attitude and style of play has slipped into complacency and over-confidence.

A pale shadow of his World Champ days. Seriously in need of a strong coach. Keep the trend of lost set one, win set two, lost narrowly in rubber. Generous of him to let opponents play catch up. Best he turn to coaching other young players.....🙄
