After speaking with the manufacturer, they confirmed the data from a run is cleared once you turnoff power. Still nice option but data is not held in memory. Just something to keep in mind if you are using it to determine gearing on a motor.
Great review, after watching this decided to grab one as i was going to buy another XR10PRO. So happy with it,the screen is used by Team Blacksheep on their crossfire module for drones, and is extremely solid... Thank you for posting this,i bought mine from Smokem Racing, here in Australia. Subscribed to your channel as well. Cheers mate🍻
The PWM setting is adjustable in .1 increments rather than presets and I prefer this now that I have been working with it. If you want it to monitor the temp of other motor manufactures they have a calibration mode to solve that too. I am now looking forward to getting one for the 1/8 scale when they come out. I would buy this again.
0:57 you weighed the wire you cut off but not the ESC??? you dont have to wonder if its "probably very competitive in weight", you have a scale. 1:23 so it does require a fan under certain circumstances? how does that work, by taping a fan to the chassis and aiming it at the esc? is that REALLY the best option? this seems like a gimmick. thanks for the review, its the only one i have been able to find in english.
I had no intent of doing a review until I was so impressed with the product. The ESC was mounted in the car when I decided to look at what the weight difference was, I wasn't going to remove it so I did the next best thing weigh the scarp to determine the adjusted weight. I haven't had the esc temp go over 102 on 80+ degree days with no fan and the company claims it doesnt need one unless you run outside on asphalt with a 4.5 turn touring car. I run a 8.5 and 6.5 in 4wd off road so its under a load. My Trinity and HW XR10 Pro always had to have a fan to avoid overheating on the same track. I agree the fan on a chassis in a off road vehicle would never work out due to room but I dont see it needing it as they have stated. Just a quick idea if weight is your concern. All weight with wire, 5m plugs and fan as I have run them (Nitride no fan). I had the esc out today because I needed to do a through cleaning. Overall they are all about the same in weight as fitted to the same chassis my opinion is the Nitride has much smoother throttle control than the others that I have used (listed below). Fantastic review, still one of the only ones out there on this unit. Have any other insights to share now that you've had it a while?
