I do grow a few depending on the hybrid..some need less light orhers more sun but all seem to prefer more water during hot seasons and fertiliser.. if fruiting variety they require lots of sun. If ornamental I tend to grow them in bright light protected from hot midday and afternoon sun. All except Ananas Candy Stripe, it prefers as much sun as possible to develop good size and bright pink colour.
