I have just been to Petra and loved it. Bedouins are really courteous and welcoming towards the tourists. Of course they are trying to make a living and that’s part of life and nothing that a smile and “la shukran- no thank you “ can’t solve.
Thanks Ruudy for taking me to Petra while I’m heaving a breakfast. And thanks for spending your money to show this, so I don’t have to spend mine 😂 though the red rocky mountains look great!
Thank you , for some more background information now I know exactly what to expect . You have given us information of the whole picture . Thanks again for this film .
what month were you here? i'm about to go to jordan in december. people are wearing more layers in your videos than i expected... need to make sure i plan accordingly so i don't have to buy a coat the first day 😅
Thanks for the video, the weather is windy as it seems like +15C or something? And Did you go into Treasury or it's forbidden? The history of this place must be crazy
Yeah, it was sunny but not very warm as you see me wearing jacket and a hoodie. It was not possible to enter, even though I have seen it was alowed some time ago…
I felt the same when I visited. I mostly felt sorry for the poor animals which really ruined my experience. You do get asked a lot for rides but I don't think it's as bad as Egypt where you get harassed.
I have never been to piramids, but heard it wild there. Here they were very respectful. But yes, everything commercialized nowadays… Thanks for watching :)
@theruudy I appreciate your honest videos. Thank you! I haven't been to the pyramids, but I visited Luxor. I'm a solo female traveller, and it was a nightmare. My favourite part about Luxor was mcdonalds, where I escaped from all the hustlers.
@@AllaScopertadiPetra that's interesting. I wonder why they removed them? I hope they're OK. It's probably not good for the bedouins or locals. But I hope the animals are in care. There is a lady who would go and give them water and food frequently.
Thank you, Ruudy! ...I would be willing to pay double the amount to be in that fantastic place with yoy!🧡😊👌Beautiful video!...Today my motto of the day will be- why not?😀😊👍
Shame that a lot of these great places are ruined by vultures. I've seen many videos of people's experience at the pyramids of Giza being ruined by very aggressive hustlers who don't take no for an answer.
@@theruudy Yeah, those guy weren't exactly aggressive to be fair and I understand they're just trying to make a living. Btw, even when you said you were feeling a bit negative that day you still came across as very pleasant. That trait will definitely serve you well on your travels.
@@GhastlyCretin Thank you for the comment! 😊 No matter what, as a guest you should always stay respectful to the country visiting. Seeing and trying to understand other perspective can also do wonderful things 😉
I live in Petra and started my life here working with tourism. I try to share in my channel all my experience in Petra
Great! Keep it going :)

I agree! They were not pushy at all. Definitely have to give them a credit for that. Glad you liked it :)
I am the type of person who has a hard time saying no but watching this video and the people made me feel at ease.
Haha, yes! In Places like Petra you have no other choice 😂👌
