    I have just been to Petra and loved it. Bedouins are really courteous and welcoming towards the tourists. Of course they are trying to make a living and that’s part of life and nothing that a smile and “la shukran- no thank you “ can’t solve.

      I agree! They were not pushy at all. Definitely have to give them a credit for that. Glad you liked it :)

    Thanks Ruudy for taking me to Petra while I’m heaving a breakfast. And thanks for spending your money to show this, so I don’t have to spend mine 😂 though the red rocky mountains look great!

    Thanks for the video, the weather is windy as it seems like +15C or something? And Did you go into Treasury or it's forbidden?
    The history of this place must be crazy

      Yeah, it was sunny but not very warm as you see me wearing jacket and a hoodie. It was not possible to enter, even though I have seen it was alowed some time ago…

    I felt the same when I visited. I mostly felt sorry for the poor animals which really ruined my experience.
    You do get asked a lot for rides but I don't think it's as bad as Egypt where you get harassed.

      I have never been to piramids, but heard it wild there. Here they were very respectful. But yes, everything commercialized nowadays…
      Thanks for watching :)

      @theruudy I appreciate your honest videos. Thank you!
      I haven't been to the pyramids, but I visited Luxor. I'm a solo female traveller, and it was a nightmare. My favourite part about Luxor was mcdonalds, where I escaped from all the hustlers.

    • @oliviajoanlowe
      @oliviajoanlowe 3 месяца назад

      @@AllaScopertadiPetra that's interesting. I wonder why they removed them? I hope they're OK. It's probably not good for the bedouins or locals. But I hope the animals are in care. There is a lady who would go and give them water and food frequently.

    Shame that a lot of these great places are ruined by vultures. I've seen many videos of people's experience at the pyramids of Giza being ruined by very aggressive hustlers who don't take no for an answer.

    • @theruudy
      @theruudy  Год назад +2

      I agree. It takes you away from original experience. Here though they were not too pushy, just everyone asked 😂
