Love the Yeuyang. It felt very comfortable as I moved up the line and was having such great rounds with the Chung. It suits how I like to play with the combat scout role and the torps are just damn sneaky and powerful. Just know it's limitations as well. It's not the best cap contester, especially against the pure gunboat DDs. Don't attempt to brawl against them unless it's late in the match with their health down or you got others around to help. If your opponent DD has smoke and hydro, be very careful attacking too early.
Good luck with your Licence as for the shot from the Lauria with sap, BB sap doesnt give extra damage its capped the same as AP damage is when hitting DDs , only the smaller cailber Sap on Cruisers and DDs give the massive extra damage, so that tells me he actually hit more than one shell on you for the 3 and a half thousand damage.
I just got my first combat scout in about 50 dd games , surprisingly enough to me, in the Le Terrible! Just one of those cases of it happening when you don’t think It would. I’d like to see a video of you showcasing Le Terrible and see what I can I pick up from it
Ripper DD what’s your thoughts on tier 10 Japanese ships Yamato and Yoshino? From my experience some of them are annoying teammates that don’t do anything but run away or stay in the back of the map
One of the things you can also do as a DD is share your RPF data to help BBs stay alive. Don’t be greedy with info which helps your team. Does NA have TX in silver? It’s only gold with them on SEA.
That's what I would do if I have rpf on dds so BB can anticipate where the torps would come from. But this video is a ranked so when both dds are neutralized, i think it's alright not to share info.

BBs are the damage dealer so yes in that respect BBs are stronger. DDs are spotter and damage tanker if torp spec'ed or gun spec'ed respectively. All ships have their roles; cruisers suffer the most because they're in the middle as support role.
Yeah I don't play BBs much but some are OP some are dogshit and just absolete (yeah looking at you GK). I don't think they are weak, but that they have the least impact on winning. Of course, CVs have the greatest influence, then DDs, radar cruisers and only then BBs. I mainly play DDs because you need more skill than with BBs, it's more fun and I also have more influence on the game. Sometimes I play the good BBs, which for me is: St. Vincent, Wisconsin and Vermont.

WG should give DDs and BBs a big buff of some kind for being within a certain distance of each other.
There is a mod on Aislan Modpack that shows the total amount of HP of both teams in real time. You can use that to track your % on potential damage.
