One of the best Republic B westerns. Thanks for posting this. You can’t go wrong spending a little under an hour with Carson, Linda Stirling & Roy Barcroft.

Thanks for this, Geno, which I look forward to watching soon. I enjoy Sunset, and this is one I haven't seen. Sunset has a similar "aw shucks" appeal to Jack Hoxie or Reb Russell, and he did a lot for B-Western fandom with his 1980s public TV series SIX GUN HEROES, which I never missed an episode of.

I got to meet Sunset Carson in the early seventies when they were filming the ill-fated "The Marshal of Windy Hollow." He was an incredibly nice person and I got to see and hold the six guns he wore in the movie. The movie got tangled up in legal matters and I don't think it was ever released.
If you could find a copy of it I would be thrilled.

I also got to meet Sunset in the 60s, he came to our local theater for the Saturday matinee. Will never forget it.

It's a movie, play acting why be so critical? It's not so bad. 🤗 It's about taking a minute to forget about your problems for a minute.

The correct lyrics are: "Porque no tiene, porque le falta, 'marijuana' (not cigarillo) que fumar." at the 22:54 mark. The song originates from the time of Pancho Villa when his soldiers heard what sounded like rifle reports so they ran to investigate and found Villa sitting in his old 'fotingo' or junker car. The sound was not from rifles but from a backfire from his car named, "La Cucaracha". It won't go because it needs marijuana .
