-- I first heard "I Wish We'd All Been Ready" in the early seventies and haven't heard it performed since. I had never given any thought to recording the song, but the message stayed with me through the years. While choosing material for Count Me In, I asked our producer if he remembered this particular tune. Without a breath, he rolled out the intro on his keyboard, as the lyrics came from memory... I Wish We'd All Been Ready is now fully orchestrated, and recorded on this latest album.

I joined the Army in Dec 1973 and in 1975 while I was in Germany, I heard Larry Norman sing this on an album in the barracks. I've never forgotten this song. RIP, Larry, 60 was too young to die.
I like the soul in her voice.

I love the Hoppers. I am a new listener to this group and I cannot get enough now as I am completely compelled to feel every song that they sing. I remember this song when i was I young I LOVE THIS!! I went to see the Hoppers in concert for the first time November 1-2012 LOVED IT!! I have followed this group for years Connie Hopper is excellent in this video as she always is. The Hoppers are one of my favorite Southern Gospel Groups

I am honestly not typically a Southern Gospel fan but they did a wonderful job with this. The slight "crack" in Connie's voice lends emotion and it builds to a musical crescendo without feeling overbearing. I also think Larry would have approved.

Ask Christ for His free gift of Salvation, and then for His Holy Spirit. (Rev. 7:9-17) The possibility of more saints yielding to the command by the False Prophet than those getting the victory over the Beast is more than frightening. (Rev. 13:7; 15:2)
