Depends on the panel on the generator, 3100 panels can only be reset by replacing the digital board(very pricey$$$) or rolling over the hour meter (10000 hours). All other panels(other then the detector panel) need Inpower pro to be reset but I doubt you will find many people who would be willing to reset a hour meter just because.

It does sound cool. But not the sound you want in a genset.
Increase your governor ramp time in the setup menu, engine that size should be set 3-5 sec to help it stabilize faster.

You directly cannot do that, its only possible through a laptop using cummins software.

What is your governor gain set at? Air in the fuel line can cause this issue.
