Sit back and enjoy this section of our family holiday to Lapland in December 2021. This is only showing Dog Sledding with Husky & Co. in Saariselkä, but there is a link at the end to watch an overall vlog of our time in Saariselkä, Rovaniemi, Inari & Taankavara, Lapland, northern Finland. in addition to what you will see in this vlog you will get to see; reindeer sleigh ride at night, The Holiday Club & apartments, gold museum, Saariselkä's ski resort and of course, visit the amazing man in red, Santa Claus/Father Christmas/St Nicholas after crossing the artic circle.
Although the children and their excitement are omitted for this public vlog, I hope you can manage to get a feel for what a magical & special place this is in the world.
With temperatures as low as minus 27 degrees Celsius and it only being daylight for a few hours a day, it really was an experience we will never forget.
Enjoy & hopefully it will also inspire you to travel to Lapland for a once in a lifetime trip.

Nice tour. May I ask if they allow rider to hold on to a selfie stick while riding?
No, unfortunately not; it has to be attached to your person to allow both hands on the sleigh. My go pro ran out of memory at the end though, so I did take a could of cheeky iPhone footage while riding, but I wouldn’t recommend this & quickly put my phone back in my pocket after taking the clips as the dogs are fast and jerk you so not ideal. I hope this helps. X

Yes, of course. As the driver you need to be able to have both hands on the sleigh for safety. Enjoy if you do head to this magical place x
