I must admit that this is a great video but know Crypto-currency trading is very volatile one as such is too risky for bigginers without basic knowledge to make good fortune out of it, I suggest you invest with a reputable broker and enjoy your returns.
Irrespective of the volatility in the market, Bitcoin is the best Investment any one can make at the moment.

that is a very high level explanation: "create a account in a broker, send funds, choose what crypto you want buy". This does not work for me... Why do I a need a broker in the first place?? I can exchange currency with another individual, why cant I deal crypto with another individual??

My husband thinks it's a good idea to have a separate banking account for investments like that incase anything bad happens only that account is affected.
If you send money from your bank account via ACH or wire transfer, it should be safe because the crypto exchange will be just like a “recipient” of the payment. Just don’t directly link your bank account to the crypto exchange.

Like this website I was using got banned from credit cars so the only other options are bitcoin of a digital check which entails handing over your routing and account number. So I just want to make cash into bitcoin so I can make my purchase. This is probably what like 90% of people want, all the encryption crap is great but I guarantee you most people don't have the patience to learn about this stuff. "I want my friggin $100 in bitcoin. I want to make my purchase like I'm using paypal. And that's all I want" yeah really simple minded but that's how the world is people.

It’s ironic that you still need real money to buy crypto.
The video fails to explain that crypto currency transactions often are subject to taxation, be it Capital gains, income, corporate, VAT, transfer etc.
This could give you an unpleasant surprise on tax day.
