Hi Javier 😁. Good use of the idiom "keep an eye out for" in your previous comment. As for your answer to question of the day, your first sentence about your favourite food is perfect, but your second sentence doesn't really make sense because 'golf' isn't a type of material. If your favourite item is a golf club, you could say, "My favourite item is made of metal." If your favourite item is a golf ball, you could say, "My favourite item is made of plastic." I hope that helps ⛳️ 🤗

Hi Hadi ✨ I am glad to hear that this lesson has helped you to understand and use 'made' with several common prepositions. 😁 You have used made with the correct preposition in all of your sentences 👍🏻. That's awesome! 🤩 I know this lesson didn't focus on verb tenses, but just be careful to use the right tense: "Although the house is made of bricks and stone, the people LIVING there make it home with love and dreams." "The handy craft LOOKS like a macrame, but is made out of beads, colourful papers and strings." If I am going to think about which is one of my favorite items, perhaps I will be forced to say that today it is the mobile phone, that I understand is MADE OF a series of important materials such as aluminum, carbon, iron, silicon, etc. As for the favorite dish in my country, that makes me think of several, but for this exercise I will cite one: the Spanish paella, that is MADE WITH rice as the main ingredient, plus several others, as seafood, such as prawns, mussels, some type of vegetables, chicken, olive oil, seafood broth, some saffron strips and some other choise🍽🍷. Te deseo un fin de semama feliz.🍁

Hi Jitendra ☺️. You're right, Made in is another good example of using made + preposition. We use made in + the place (usually country) where the item was created. You often include great idioms and also much encouragement 🤗. I am very glad to hear that this lesson has specially helped you with the differences between 'made from' and 'made of'. 👍🏻 That's so cool that we have the same favourite Japanese food 🍗 🥚 🤤. I don't think that many Canadians actually know what Oyakodon is to be able to call it by name. On some menus I've seen it listed as 'oyakodon', while on some menus it is listed as 'rice bowl with chicken and egg'. Somehow the latter doesn't seem to do the delicious dish justice. When I was living in Japan and studying Japanese, the fact that 親子丼 is literally "parent and child rice bowl" when you're eating chicken and egg made me laugh so much 😆. I'm very surprised that your favourite items are DAISO notebooks 📓! I imagined most people would have favourite items that had either monetary value or sentimental value 😅. It's nice that you appreciate the simple things in life though☺️. Actually, DAISO is a pretty good store with cheaply priced items which are still quite decent quality. It's a shame we don't have any locations (that I know of) here in Ontario. The closest thing we have is a chain of stores called "Dollarama" Things there usually cost only a dollar or two, but the quality is extraordinarily terrible 😅.

Hi Lara 🌸. I agree, choosing a favourite food can be difficult because there are so many delicious choices! I am glad to hear that you are generally doing well, but sorry to hear that you're so worried about current world events. What's happened in Afghanistan is completely awful and I hope that many countries around the world can work together to help the people of Afghanistan. I'm sure your friend in the USA will be okay. Hello Suhag 😎. These sentences are not related to the content in this made + preposition lesson, but I will correct the two of them that are slightly incorrect 😁. The present perfect is used when taking about an action that happened in the past, but we don't know when it happened. Even if you're using the passive voice, this rule still applies. So you can't use the word 'yesterday' and present perfect grammar structure together. You'd have to go with your first simple past sentence structure: "The moon was seen yesterday." If you want to keep the present perfect structure with the passive voice, then omit the word 'yesterday'. "The moon has been seen." In your third sentence you need to be careful of subject verb agreement. As this is a comment English expression, you should just make the subject plural: "Somethings never get old."
