  • A newly launched deglazing tool from SOUTO. Allowing you to simply, quickly and easily remove a window bead, particularly for a SHEERFRAME window.
    A product that we have been working on for a while - hopefully the video shows just how easily the removal of window beading can be on a Sheerframe window profile.
    A newly launched tool as a collaboration between @SASHSTOP and our friends at @SouberTools, and the first product within the @soutoupvc range of repair and maintenance products.
    Thank you for watching our video from @soutoupvc . We aim to bring you information relating to the uPVC door and window industry.

    As someone who does have to change sealed units regularly, what is a Sheerframe window bead and how would I ID it?

  • @davidbird935
    @davidbird935 Год назад

    I assumed those is for shuffle beads. Held in at the back. Unlike most held at the front in which case this is no good

    My double glazing looks completely sealed can’t see any strips that can be removed … is it this possible?

      Thanks for asking the question! It is possible that it is a full welded system, but hard to say for sure without seeing the system. By all means get in touch directly if you would like us to review it in more detail. Thanks, The SOUTO Team

      @@soutoupvc ahhh ok makes sense, looks like I have welded joints after doing more research and mechanical joints are now the norm, my windows are 25 years old

      @MistaSmiffTV I know it's maybe a bit late but windows that old may be externally beaded. They used to pit the glass in from outside and put beads on the outside but burglars could pop the beads and remove the glass for access so they all changed to internally beaded.

      I got my company to buy one of these as we have some reverse beaded windows on a council contract and this tool is excellent as unlike normal beads you have to go in glass side to remove them
