I hope you don't beat yourself up about the acne. I really promise it is not that bad and many people deal with it a lot worse (not to compare, and I know it sucks no matter what amount). As someone who has struggled with adult acne caused by hormones for many years, I promise patience and relaxing is the best thing you can do! I always find when my diet is better, my skin is better too. Keep your skincare simple. Been following you since you had 15k, so excited for you to reach 70k! XX

We just learned the hard way with our new puppy to rinse the ice cube off with water before giving it to her because her poor tongue got stuck to the ice cube and it ripped a small layer of the tip of her tongue off and she bled 😢 she’s totally fine now, but just sharing what we learned with her so that hopefully doesn’t happen to sweet Roo! 💜

Def not watering the mums enough! You should water them until water runs through the bottom. Ideally early in the morning that way they don’t dry out in the heat of the day

Splashing the mums w water isn't going to do anything. You say its still really warm where you are so you have to really soak each plant maybe once or twice a week. That's just my suggestion.

For your outside plants - They need way more water than that. I would give each plant a full cup of water. A large watering can will help you save trips back to the kitchen to fill up your cup. If water runs out of the bottom of the pot/plant, they have been sufficiently watered. And they prefer a little more sunlight, at least 5-6 hours of direct sun ❤
Dealing with hormonal acne myself for the first time..thank you for sharing the realness. Try Kiehls calendula calming mask & then sleep in the Ren Evercalm recovery balm. Personally noticed a huge difference overnight!

Mums love to be watered from the root up !! Pouring it from the top actually kills them ! Also at least 6 hours of sun light and no harsh heat !!

The hormonal acne madness is 1000% due to going off birth control. It happened to me, and I was so confused bc I never ever struggled w acne. I wasn’t trying to have a baby, so I went back on it and it all went away 😢

Make sure to clean your facial tools. Product can collect on them and then clog your pores and make you break out.

Mum plants do well if you stick the bottom in a bucket of water and let them soak up water for about a half hour.
I made my own salsa this week too! Did it for taco night and made homemade guacamole too. So goooood and taste so fresh ❤️
put water on the roots of the plant rather than on the flowers! they will not soak in enough water if you splash it on the top

You need to water them more and pour the water into the actual soil so it gets wet not just on top of the flowers :)

Sounds like your moisture barrier is compromised. I would stick with a thick basic moisturizer when it happens. It’s from retinol acne medicine use! Easy to fix. ❤ -medical aesthetician
Try not washing your face in the shower/in the steamy bathroom after. At least for me, acidic products/face masks are totally fine on me in normal conditions but will irritate me if I put them on in steamy conditions
