To me, this is better than the studio version. I haven’t heard this song in probably 6 years. Listened to this, then the studio version. This version is more raw, has more emotion, and connects better. The imperfections make it perfect.

I first listened to this song in 2012 when i was on the edge of a really damaged relationship with a girl. She was my fiancée and this hit hard. I eventually broke up with her because she wanted to live her life. She was too young to get married and left me for another guy. I was broken but somehow, that whole album, Audio Secrecy, helped me through the healing process. I really love it and i specially love this significant song for me. The demo version just add another beautiful layer to what it means in my life.

I've always preferred Corey's voice completely raw, sadly, it's mostly on the ballads. I love the raspy, once it hits the record, it's cleaned up too much
Really like this demo version. Song has a lot of meaning for me and hearing it this way just drives the point home even more.
