  • The next stop on my Solo Europe trip is Stockholm Sweden! filmed August 2019
There's just one small hiccup, it has been raining. ☔ Rainy days on vacation are the worst, right? My European adventure has been filled with a fair share of rainy days so far. This leaves me with two options: 1) Pout about the rain and stay in. 2) Find a way to dance in the rain. 🚅
While in Stockholm, I found a way to dance in the rain, while staying relatively dry! Did you know that Stockholm’s metro stations are the world’s longest art gallery due to 90 of its 100 stations having some form of art installation?
🇸🇪 So I decided to visit some of the coolest stops in the network! These installations are so creative, this is a must-do activity whether it’s rainy or not! Rain, Rain, go away!
Come along with me as I explore Stockholm Sweden's Metro Art Installations!

quick fact, the IKEA in kungens kurva (4:41) use to be the largest in the world but the Philippines plan to open or has opened a larger one this year (2020)

Naughty, you took the faster SJ regional train instead of the SL commuter train you had paid for. Good thing you weren’t busted! You would have gotten off with a warning though, they go easy on tourists.

The first in Stockholm yes - but not the first in Sweden. It is situated in the small town of Älmhult in the south of Sweden.

Some of my favorite places are
Djurgården, the island (including the Vasa museum, Skansen and the ABBA Museum)
The archipelago (jump-off/off boats in summer)
Gamla stan (Old town, which you probably visited already since you were at the palace)
      Vaxholm with the fortress
