The paint will fade after 3 weeks of heat your best bet is to have it chromed I did 1000 modifications to my Z it's sick the amount of knowledge I possess on these cars
I don't have to put oil in it unless it's at a service interval usually... It does get hit I'll give you that! It cools pretty quick and I do always have a rag on hand. Thanks for the comments ✌️
Funny I've never heard the word rocker cover I've always called it the valve cover of course I call it the glove compartment you probably call it the glove box
want to do something cool cut your steering wheel at 10 and 12 put motorcycle grips on it i did this when I was a teenager in my ZX you'll love it...imho

Have a good time putting oil in that cap now that it's 200 degrees
