What really needed to be shown in Castaway is “Chuck Noland” making soup 🥣 by using using a half coconut 🥥 shell, filing this with slightly salty water, and heating it over a flame 🔥. The coconut won’t burn provided there is liquid in the shell 🥥. Add in fish 🐟 bits, and other sea creatures 🦀🦞 and seaweed 🌱, cook thoroughly but make sure it is stirred constantly. Delicious ! Next … and not for the feint hearted … Chuck captures some of the islands migrating bird life and makes bird stew 🍲 by the same method 🦜🕊🦢. A kind of deserted island 🐓 soup.
