Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd are like a tag team ripped straight out of an 80s pro wrestling magazine, loved the classic style with a slightly modernized approach.
The Golden Era of US Pro Wrestling Territories in the early to mid 80s was epic! I got to watch 6 promotions as a tyke every weekend! Mid-South, Georgia, Houston, Southwest Championship, World Class, Mid Atlantic! I would not trade that time for anything in the world and it shaped my experience as a longtime pro wrestling fan. AEW is the only current promotion in the US that gives me those nostalgic vibes and adds the extra flavor of international talent from Mexico and Japan which makes it even better.

@@TheCoog97 Thanks to Syndication, During The Week, I would see Memphis Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, The American Wrestling Association, Powerful Women of Wrestling, Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, World Wide Wrestling, The World Wrestling Federation, Mid-South Wrestling. Cable brought Georgia Championship Wrestling, NWA Wrestling, WWF Wrestling.
Except they should have spent less time posing between moves.

I don't know how it came about but Wight and Daddy Magic work so well together on commentary it's brilliant.
A pleasant surprise for AEW as Paul Wight was gone from doing Color Commentary for several months and Daddy Magic stepped in.

I really enjoyed the old-school heel tag-team of Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd. Really entertaining. Let's see some more of them.
I think this is great & I hope AEW uses Magnum & Floyd as pieces to rebuild their tag team division. AEW's tag team division has been trash since they created the trios title. It's been The Acclaimed, The Gunns, Swerve & glory & FTR so far.. I think they're doing something about it though. They brought back Top Flight & have been featuring them more & they put Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal together. They still need more though, put I think Magum & Floyd could be a great start to created new tag teams & rebuild the AEW tag title scene.

I like Kip Sabian building a feud with Orange Cassidy. If done right Kip can come out of it as a stronger wrestler in the AEW hierarchy with a solid character, even if he does lose the match. Cassidy is known to get under opponents skin with his style, Kip can get a win of sorts if he can get Cassidy's head to break character. Build more storytelling to some of these feuds.
22:16 I dont know who in the crowd was sitting closed enough to a camera for it to randomly get picked up but theres a mario coin sfx when Darius tags in Dante. they hit the sound at a few other moments but that was the one i noticed first

Okay I came to comments to see if sure enough anyone would mention it. Had to keep rewinding and wasn't sure if it was someone from the crowd being cheeky or of that was intentional from the production truck. But definitely a cool moment regardless lol.

Madison is bang average. Emi is better but relies too much on her gimmicky spots, making her matches feel hokey.

Incredible the movements Sakura is still able to do and how she works with her gimmick all the match long, never get bored in any of her bouts, it has to be real fun for the ref.
Glad to see, or not see, bruh where were the cameras, Madison getting mad after her defeat, she becomes better hot-blooded, she has always done.

@@dtraversodt she's kinda past her in-ring prime. They are better athletes and are more convincing. Wrestlers have to stay in a position for extended moments for Madison to do her moves.
@deeang349 like I said I don't mind her losing but wish it was by roll up or pulling of tights. However, she been losing clean a lot and now tomorrow her Kiera and Skye Blue have to face Jade and Leila (who nearly beat Madison) and the returning Red Velvet(who might squash Madison next)

The Outrunners are probably my favorite tag team in OVW, I just love their 80's fueled gimmick, and I always get a laugh out of the OVW commentators Bryan Kennison and AJ McKay gushing over them while commentator Josh Ashcraft flips his wigs cause of it

It's only his second appearance in the company and I'm already a fan of Hagane Shinno. More please. To use an old fashioned expression which seems appropriate for her and her gimmick (which I love). Kitty LaFleur was a delight. And so nice to see Top Flight back in the ring together. They really are an awesome tag team. So glad Takeshita got signed. He's amazing. Hope they don't just waste him on the mid-card beacause he's a star. And honestly it's time for AEW to put a strap on Kip Sabian. He deserves it.
