Once the 4 bolts were removed, they just separated. If yours are stuck together, try putting a chisel through the center to the opposite hub and give it s smack.
I think the idea is that by sourcing and putting the bearing in yourself you have a better idea what quality the new bearing is. New cheap wheels often have terrible Chinese bearings in them.
