Yeah the concept of the first take is that they really only get one take to get it right, and especially with the high quality mics they use, you can really hear the raw voices and the nerves that run thru the artists becasue they know they cant mess up haha

I've been watching The First Take since it started and I'm really glad it has introduced a lot of people to all the amazingly talented artists and groups/bands from Japan. Hopefully XG's performance (which they absolutely slayed) will help them gain an even bigger following and that they'll get to come back on TFT many times !

I watched ITZY on First take, doing Wanabee, and of course Lia wasn't there, but I was surprised by the steadiness of all 7 of XG's vocals in comparison to ITZY's 4, whom I like. I thought Yeji was a little off, and she usually has a very powerful voice, but the control wasn't quite all there. Chaeryoung did a good job of filling in for Lia's lines. Just makes XG's performance here really stand out.
Thank you for your love to XG BUT PLEASE, don't diminish other bands, especially by comparing them to k-pop groups. A true Alphaz will never talk about other groups other than SUPPORTING AND PRAISING XG. He gave the impression that his comment was a bit biased to start discussions and we don't need that. It's not only that it is one take only ... also the microphones are best quality Japan can build (and Japan isn't exactly known for being technologically backward). They are unforgiving and register the slightest trembles and insecurities. And that's what makes this performance so freaking amazing.
