This is my favorite RUclips channel. I am 14 and just got a PS5, but that’s not the console I love the most. N64 is the best console hands down. I started out with retro games and now they are my favorite games. Also this channel got me into collecting and reselling and I found a Wii Mini (Mario Kart Wii Bundle) and a PS3 both CIB at half of what they are currently worth. Haven’t sold yet but I can’t wait until they do.

My Dad bought my brother that Sonic & Knuckles Tee-shirt about 25 years ago because he and I entered into a contest at a drag racing event! it was all set in a double decker bus and loads of kids took part. The game had just come out so it was being promoted heavily in the UK. The contest was to see who could 1. finish the first level the quickest and then 2. re-run it and get the most rings. Everyone selected Knuckles because he was new and cool - I knew full well by choosing Sonic I was going to fly through that level. I won an exclusive shirt, never seen once since. It wasn't actually as cool as the one my brother got strangely enough lol I was jealous! ^.^

I was at the con and that clock was SICK - glad it found a good home in your shop! Also, most thrift stores in the deep South are like that, they really suck. We're all jealous of you guys when you go thrift hunting!

you just unlocked a memory saying starship troopers was your first R rated movie. Im 20 and I remember watching that 15 years ago, loved it.
I WANT that Mario 64 cap. I had one just like it but it got lost/stolen during a move when i was younger.
Also Goodwills and thrift stores in general tend to get picked clean here in the south.
Compared to the uk 🇬🇧 just having the opportunity to go into one of these stores would be amazing ! You lot don’t know how lucky you are to have these places !

I have that blue Mario chair (plus a matching bean bag chair in red!) and used to have the smaller version of the wall clock but some jerk stole it from my apartment back in college.
I've got a Nintendo 64 hat. I've been pondering getting rid of for a while. It's amazing the stuff I find when I go through my treasures. I've also got tons of handheld stuff. I'd like to sell as well.
Go back to the tees and scan for thick, ribbed collars. Almost always vintage. Pulled one today in ten minutes of scanning that lists for $75. They are in there, flipping each shirt is for suckers.

Always watch your videos with my girlfriend. Went and got a 32" crt with component the other day for 25$ and the lady had a copy of the Elder Scrolls Arena with the 8 floppy's cib for 5 bucks. I almost passed and then I thought of your videos. I looked it up and it's selling for anywhere in the 300 to 500 range. So needless to say it's gunna be my first game flip and one hell of a flip indeed. Thanks Rick!

As someone born and raised in Greenville, SC it’s funny that you can see how bad the thrift shops are here. I’ve been in each one you went to and all they have is crap. Good vid once again Rick, Ricky, and riff on the edit!

That movie was 14+ (PG13) on release in Canada until 2 weeks later.....Starship Troopers. That was an awsome premier.
I was bummed we didn't get a chance to visit the Greenville thrift scene, but thank you Ricky, Rick and Derek for enduring it so that I didn't have to.

I stopped going to those thrift stores a couple years ago, Greenville isn’t the best place for thrifting. Only place I still go is the Goodwill Bins.

Love the thrill of the hunt! At least you guys got a day of fun out of it together. Although I will say, I dunno how much I'd trust pawn shops for quality of products. I've never actually bought anything from a pawn shop before because of it.
I live in Greenville sc and very rarely will you find anything good at any thrift Stores or goodwill etc.
I mean it is not just greenville, I think Arkansas is an anomaly, it is similar in the north suburbs of Atlanta for thrift stores

Man, the Goodwill in Simpsonville is always a bust. That miracle hill in Mauldin that you went to was really good, but people from the store started selling the nice items on eBay. Next time I can show you the best places to go in Greenville.
Oh man the Piranha controller... I had that and a few others during the early years. Well let's just say those things are responsible for more than a couple of fried controller boards in my youth.

I'm sorry I didn't see you at the con. I was looking forward to talking to you this year about how amazing your store is, but I was heavily distracted because a friend who was supposed to come down for the convention had a flight delay and had to cancel her trip, plus I was doing merch hunting and seeing all the panels plus the magic show and cosplay contest on day 2. I'm hoping you'll be back next year.

Not all v1 switchs can be modded, only early ones. You can check the serial number to verify if it can be modded

Always interesting to see the price difference in different places and countries. Over here in the Netherlands Europe Rick would have won, as those DS's go for less than what Ricky paid for and he would actually made a loss, while on the V1 unpatched Switch you would make over the $100 profit.
one day when your channel gets big, you should try for one day only, retro toy and game hunting in Japan. there was one Japanese youtuber who did that, at a store called super potato and they had a store right beside it that sold retro items. they were selling neo geo apparently Japanese version for 300
