Is this similar to what happens in them lighters once pressed they produce a spark for ignite the gas? So one can try this very easily by just getting the presser from the lighter and pressing it next to a metal object.
hey. what did you use in the video? was it Rochelle salt piezoelectric crystals, like the stuff you can make at home? because the piezos you can buy at radio shack are about the size of a quarter and don't look like they would fit in your setup?
That's an interesting question. Too bad the poster doesn't talk to anyone, or so it seems. I think if you run them to a battery, you could up the volts, by taking it from that battery.
@@HighVoltageArcRD I just calculated it, its alot more than few thousands. Air has breakdown voltage of 30KV/cm, so its around 100KV judging by the distance.
@@DaveyHg 😄 thanks for recomandation! we didn't use this video! but i think we used this video, we won😂 but it's just past. i appreciate your recommand👍
It’s very simple, you just need to spray silicone tetrachloride gas into a tube for the crystal to form, then submerge that crystal into highly concentrated potassium hydroxide and wash it with super pure deionized water and attach some gold wires into it in microscopic scale which will become the electrode and finally, reinforced everything part with teflon and you have your homemade piezoelectric crystal Very simple ;)
Now if humans do vibrate, that makes people using crystal a thing. Cause if you vibrate touching crystal it means it creates energy field, which means using crystals is not ridiculous
Knock. Knock. Who's there? ------Sparky
He buddy are you still there… your joke was found funny by 18 people in 10 years

Yes for some but others are flint

wow i always love to see theory in real life!
Now just imagine what an earthquake can do with all that quartz in the ground.
that is one LONG arc!!!!!!!!!! I am looking respectfully
Nice way to demonstrate!
don't those crystals break eventually with all that hammering? even the ones inside lighters
can i use this video for my tik tok video
Interesting i wonder if it sparks from the top down or from bottom up..? Would be cool to see in slow motion..
Me too
From the top
To get slow motion, click 3 dots on upper right area of the video. Change the video speed to x0.25 from normal
Where does the spark start? From the top or from the bottom?
What are those elements???
Silicon dioxide
wow that's why thor's 🔨 was made.... darn the ⚡ God really exist hihi
What kind of piezoelectric material used here?
Crystals
Silicone dioxide
=o= wat is those metal ? thor hammer ?
Thermal acoustic pipe with that maybe?
lol is that a brake caliper piston?
thor the beggining
"Three Piezoelectric ceramics connected in series" Does this help increases the voltage?

Your electrons are falling out
This hammer effect can be expanded to N situations.
How could we make a continuess peizo spark generator
How you make that?
homemade lightning 🙌
How much voltage is that?
Few thousand volts

@@PerfectExsneeder I thought that air breakdown at 1Kv/cm lol
How to make that
awesome video! thanks!
How make that?

분해하기 어렵지 않던가요? 라이터용 빼려다 보면 툭하면 꺠져버리더라구요
Onk Lim 라이터용이 아니고 대형 가스렌지에 들어있는 것입니다. 지름이 5mm 입니다.
But how!?
try to use slow motion camera
Super!
make a toturial
The title says it all what else do you want to understand?!
How nice!! may I use this video for presentation in our university?
After 5 years the answer is... Mmmm let me think about it

@@user-moturl I said let me think about it lol.. 5 years is a long time and no one answered you..
oh... now i see😆
@@DaveyHg after 10 years… still a no. Wonder if they graduated
Incredible :)
How it work?
Piezoelectricity.
Thanks!
Please tell how to do this :)

will use this in lage quantity

we have magic in our world, and it's called scientific phenomena

Good
Thank you :)
Oh, Thank you :)
I will make that from electrick lighters
could you measure how much the element expands when you ally a high voltage
if the distance is 1 cm. it must be around 10kv
nice ^^
cool!

Note:
Don't try this at home
