Summary:
Is it possible for a human being to bring about a total psychological revolution in oneself?
Is love put together by thought?
Passion can only exist when suffering ends.
As long as there is self-interest, which is the wheel of time, then there must be death.
Living and dying are always together.
The word is not the truth. The symbol is not the truth. The person is not the truth. Therefore there is no personal worship.

If one has any doubt about JKs belief in God, he/she should just hear the very last portion of this talk. The Unnamable, the Holy and the Eternal he was talking about is not the God that religions has invented for themselves.

Yes sir but you’ve missed what he’s saying about images through every single one of his talks! He’s said that he doesn’t know and that quality is far more important and real than knowing so we have to go into the whole god thing as a fairy tale and come out the other side together with something we don’t really know. It’s odd were we are in this god thing. Basically the image is rather dumb once you see the ground of being. You can get to “god” or ground of being through the body only which entails the environment but through language/ images maybe zen koans currently are the thing we need for the god question.
