I have only had my Chanel WOC in Caviar for just under 2 years and only used probably around 10 to 15 times only since I only use it for special occasions. Recently I noticed that on one of the corner of the flap its wearing out and seem like the leather is peeling which got me really concern since I haven't used the WOC that much and always taken great care of it. Im so disappointed in Chanel especially its caviar leather so should be alot more durable so now im thinking is my a faulty WOC?🤷♀️ and would Chanel repair this for me and cost if anyone know? Such a shame because its less than 2 years old and only used a handful of times. Can anyone please comment and advise? Would very much appreciate it ❤ xxx
Sounds like lambskin is so hard to take care! Mine is caviar and I don’t think about anything at all when I use it.. regardless under the sun or bring for travel etc. 😬 I am considering lambskin medium maybe I shouldn’t ??
It is! I took a gamble with lambskin on this bag as it was my first ever chanel. I wouldn't buy lambskin again on a larger handbag and even a wallet. My concern with lambskin on a medium/large flap is the creasing and the loss of puffiness it will eventually have in the long run. Its gorgeous however in the classic flap. Good luck!
I have a small classic flap in cavier and I am glad I chose cavier. I don't have to worry about getting scratches. Unless it's a woc I wouldn't get lamb skin.
