      Hi Steve! Hope you and family are doing well! I believe this method is the safest and will flush the fluid completely from the system. Have a great day!

    I love to see your videos, I have a 2002 Ford Escape XLS 2.0L 4x4 manual de transmision and I love it, I would like to replace many original factory parts but it has been impossible to find, for example: Throttle Accelerator Cable YL8Z9A758BG. Could you help me find it please?

    • @stuzman52
      @stuzman52  10 месяцев назад

      Yes, it does look like this item is going to be a difficult item to find. Most of the suppliers says that it's a supply chain issue or do not know when its available. In a case like this, I would do a search on junk yards and try to find the item. Good luck and have a great New Year!

    Thanks, always enjoy learning from you. i'm wondering how is the fluid being sucked with this way of flushing, without running or cranking the engine. I think the sealed piston moving inside the rack left to right is constantly pumping in and out the fluid through the control valve. But i'm not sure.

    • @stuzman52
      @stuzman52  Год назад

      You are exactly correct Petar in describing how the fluid is pumped out. It's all about the piston moving inside the rack and pinion which pushes the fluid out. Have a great day!

    Hi Terry, very well explained and easy to follow. I think it is time to do this to my 2006 ford ranger. [ Do you think this would be a good time to add a bottle of Lucas power steering fluid and conditioner, or maybe not. ] Thanks Friend

    • @stuzman52
      @stuzman52  Год назад

      I wouldn't add any conditioner especially if you aren't having any issues. Have a good one!

    Could you ask Eric to come over and turn my steering wheel for me. Thanks man.

    Nice video, I tried do the same, but, what if, when turns the steering wheel, the fluid
    it comes out very slow, in the video flows fast. Thank you !

    • @stuzman52
      @stuzman52  Год назад +1

      Not sure what the issue is Salvodor as I've done this method on two other vehicles with no issues. In your case, I would pull the fuel pump relay and let the engine run until its out of fuel. Hook up everything as shown in the video and again have the two front wheels off the floor. Have a helper turn the engine over while you watch the fluid in the reservoir and top off as needed. You do not want to let the fluid run empty in the reservoir as the pump is being turned over by the engine. If the fluid runs dry in the reservoir, then there is no lubrication for the rotors in the pump and could damage it. Good luck with your project and have a great day!
