This is one of the best review for this ExpertBook. Maybe you can also record the fan noise compaired to e key button press and the running intervals would also be helpful to know: does the fan regulary start and stop / pulse in office use?

This display would be a good fit for a laptop from 2010, not 2025, real shame for what could have been a very decent laptop. Also the 14.0-inch standart is also quite outdated, Lenovo is making huge sales with their 14.5 and 15.3 models, which combined with nice screen make the experience really nice. Even though it has the latest processor, which seems quite effective, that is one very basic laptop. Thanks for the detailed review.

The hinge test is missing a wobble test, since this seems to be a problem for this laptop. Nice review otherwise!

It's not that bad, about on par with my old thinkpad e14, but the lid is VERY flexible, i would be careful about dropping it with the lid open

You should really try to test the performance on battery. I have the same model and I noticed that the performance drastically decreases on battery, so is the package power draw. From 35-37w while plugged in down to 25w for a short time(about 10 seconds) then down to 15w. This decreases Cinebench R23 scores down to 7800 multicore, but the one that suffers most is the GPU, as it struggles to keep the clocks high enough for for it to be considered usable. Any idea as to why did they artificially limit performance while competitors such as the Lenovo 7i Aura with the same CPU can keep the plugged in performance while on battery?

I would like to know that too
I'm considering either one. I really don't like the glossy Lenovo screen + it's slightly too big for me. I checked all the benchmarks and they all look better on the Asus laptop, however I didn't know that the battery performance is different.

I love your reviews, thank you for taking the time and being so detailed with your information. What would you suggest for a decent 2in1 with at least two usb-A and 2usb-C ports?

Thanks very much @cm.5023 for your lovely feedback, really appreciate it as it brings a smile I am still running the right path for my videos. As for the recommendation for decent 2in1 there are two that comes to mind, one which I recently reviewed is the Asus ProArt PX13 it has a dGPU but only 1 USB-A port and 2x USB-C so could be out of scope for you. The other that comes to mind is the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2in1 Gen 9. I'm also awaiting for the refresh of the Asus ROG X16 if not look into that which also has a dGPU and the 4 ports you are after.

Start an Asmr channel man. Youll be rich. You have the relaxing voice for it. Just do it on the side and see how it goess.

@Bob-l7m2g LOL I have been suggested this a few times when I started the channel and I was very softly spoken since I was recording the videos at night and didn't want to wake up the baby back in the days. I did start a alt channel and tested two ASMR style videos but after some thought it wasn't a genre I was after nor a goal I wanted to achieve as much as there where people who enjoy the ASMR genre there was also quite a number of people who didn't like the soft voice. My main goal was to help others with information and help the Tech Industry. I truly thank you for the suggestion and the beautiful comment regarding the texture of my voice though and it is very comforting to hear feedback from others.
