Yes, yes, yes!!! God does still perform miracles, including healing me from cancer. I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of thyroid cancer with a very small chance of living past 5 years. After the laying on of hands at our church and through much prayer, when the surgeon went in to perform surgery, there was no evidence of cancer on the thyroid or in any of the lymph glands that they removed. None! After multiple tests, ultrasounds, and biopsies. God is still healing, and He is still doing miracles!!!
Karen, thank you for your testimony. I had a very similar miracle healing happen to me through my breast cancer journey in 2005. God IS STILL HEALING and He can do it MIRACULOUSLY! I am a testimony! Hallelujah!
My mom was ill from cancer and I saw the miracle of her healing too, it’s been a few years passed since she was diagnosed, praise God!!! My family prayed with fervent faith and believed she was healed - and she was! Also I am SO appreciative to see comments like yours especially after a sad commercial of sick children dying of cancer; I wouldn’t wish that on anyone! It is true that cancer doesn’t discriminate on a person’s age. Let’s pray right now for the children; not only for the children sick with cancer, let’s not forget this chaos with pushing the mandate on healthy children and even those sick, either way, a vaccine that has not been well tested is being forced on these little ones. It is abominable! Against human - God given rights!

You're in my prayers Ali. We are not perfect while on this earth and stumble, but with God, through Christ, He lifts us back up and we push on remembering we are His children. Be careful because the enemy will take the opportunity to exploit that struggle. I was dealing with some issues a couple of weeks ago and the enemy swooped right in telling me lies that I started to believe, until I reminded myself who I am in Christ. We're not perfect, but we strive to be. God knows our heart. Tithing is still applicable to a Christian Churches as i know. Its because this is the basis of our recognations that all we received are from God. Then, other givings are all sacrificial that comes from our heart.
My theology professor told us to try praying to each member of the Holy Spirit. I don't know where he got this from. Jesus told us to pray to the Father in the name of the Son. I don't see a reason to do differently.
I loved your transparency here Melissa. What a joy to listen to this vlog entry. You talked about prayer and I wanted to share something I use as a GUIDELINE for prayer. You have probably heard of the ACTS acronym: Adoration Confession Thanksgiving Supplication It’s a good way for a new believer to learn how to pray. It doesn’t have to be done in that order.
I love your humble spirit sister. I listen to a variety of different teachers from different theological perspectives. I don't necessarily agree with all their theology but I am mature enough now to be able to eat the meat spit out the bones. You have to becareful with Calvinism. I was indoctrinated into Calvinism by listening only to Calvinist teachers before I knew what Calvinism was. But I can recognize now, know what the system teaches but still listen to "reformed" teachers that have some good teachings, I just throw out the Calvinism when they go over that. I had time to grow in the scriptures before I came across Calvinism so I always knew something is not right. Alot of times you have it right even as a babe when your just reading and studying the scriptures in context before you get twisted up in a systematic theology. I love Mike Winger also. He is so humble but also good at teaching. A brother I ran across that had led Pastors and believers out of Calvinism is Brother Kevin Thompson "Beyond the Fundamentals" is his youtube channel. He has a great way of teaching on youtube that he gets you to look at the context. His specialty is bringing people out of Calvinism he was a Calvinist so that is what the majority of his teachings is on confronting the known Calvinistic scripture verses they use by looking at the context. I don't agree with him on everything but he is good at what he does. Dave Hunt "What Love is this" also is good. I love watching Dave Hunt and Johanna Michaelsen on old youtube video's. Also,The best way to stay out of bad theology is learn the Inductive Bible Study Method. You miss so much in context by getting locked into a system.
Be strong in the Lord. You achieve it by reading His Word , the Bible. Chanels like this help, but you need to do your homework in order to be protected. Blessings.

I’m so glad to have ran across your channel and finding Mike’s channel through yours. I had no idea apologetics existed or I’d heard of it and never looked into it and I love it! And I needed it. And God has shown me so much through my recent Bible study and the channels I follow. Like He’s literally answering my prayers with videos. I do my study, but it’s going to take me a long time to get through my Bible because I break it all down as much as I can in my walk right now to try and really understand it. The RUclips videos He’s lead me to have answered a lot of questions I’ve prayed about, but haven’t necessarily gotten to in my Bible study, yet. The spiritual warfare has been intense, though. Since I’m finally fully free in Jesus. After years of being one foot in and one foot out, so essentially out. I’ve been having nightmares, had to take my son to the ER, cracked my head tonight when a loft bed I was assembling for my daughter fell on my head, and just a lot of small random things to try and trip me up, but the Lord has been with me every step. Saying Jesus relieved the nightmares and fear. My son was 100% healthy at the ER we don’t know what caused it but his blood and urine were 100% clear and he’s been fever free since (I prayed that night as well trusting God). And tonight could have been much worse, I probably need a couple stitches, but no bruising, barely any bleeding, and only surface pain in my head. My first thought was to immediately pray and give it to God, I knew I was bleeding and it was bad, but I trusted Him. And through all that’s happened this week, I still have joy and peace. Something I’d not ever felt, really. To put it into perspective, I was just freed from over 2 decades of chronic major depression and anxiety. Since, I was 5 years old I’ve been clinically depressed. I had resigned myself to believing I’d never be free, couldn’t figure out why a God freed others and not me. Long story short, it was me standing in my own way, not God. He freed me instantly, the moment I was ready to give Him full control. I’ve not felt even the slightest bit of depression since! And that, for me, is a miracle! Anyways, thank you for all that you do for the Lord and I am very much enjoying your channel!

I'm glad to know that you are not a Calvinist or cessationist. I was saved in a Calvinist cessationist church and I am so glad to be free of both doctrines, after many years. That's so cool about the music group of former Mormons.
Sorry to hear of your past hurts. Calvin is one of the more misunderstood reformers. His book, the Institutes will probably show where your former church was wrong. It is a large book but it is arranged by topics. I pray you continue to heal. I would also urge you to forgive and not brand all reform theology as wrong.
I get really confused with calvinism sometimes like "How do I know if i'm one of the elect?" kind of thing. I do believe that once you give your life to christ and have the spirit in you, that youre unlikely to be lost. But my brother was christened as a child and raised with me and is an athiest/agnostic. so I guess im somewhere between Once Saved Always Saved and Repent More than Once or else. Because at least right now when I read the bible I see evidence for both sides. The mercy of God displayed basically everywhere in scripture balanced out with the holy righteousness of God. basically how I see it in life is this: "Being a christian doesn't make you sinless, it just makes you sin less..." Following jesus means youve died to your sin but your sin still lives in your flesh. waging war against the spirit. Just like with Paul. Is this making sense at all? to anyone? or am I wrong in this?
Your brother was never a believer. You can't lose it if you are saved as nothing can take you from his hand nor break the seal you have and that means nothing not falling into sin, not doubts, not momentary lapses etc hope that helps. If you could lose it by the way you would never have a moments peace, it also leads to legalism, you would never know if you got your day etc exactly right for lack of a better phrase
So so cool to see a young modern Christian women exposing the lies intelligently and not deceived by the Bethel delusion ( different gospel) that do many of my young Christian friends are. Bless you sister. Keep it up praying and believing that many will turn back to Christ and the word of God and see a pure Jesus focussed moving of the true Holy Spirit in our times and generation.

I'd highly suggest Alisa Childers if you don't listen to her. She's an apologist who mainly focused on the progressive church. She's very calm and cerebral in her approach. She's an excellent interviewer. And I believe she and Melissa have done at least one interview together.
I have watched many many of your videos and have not commented until now. I love what you said about women in apologetics. I also have a bent toward learning about the bible, theology, biblical doctrines, science and the bible and more of what would be considered the scholarly part of bible studies. There is a serious lack of women's ministry that focuses on this aspect, as you said. Encouragement definitely has it's place. But I often find myself in conversations with men when it comes to discussing apologetics. I am not sure why that is. ... Anyway, I enjoy your content! You and Doreen have such humility when discussing topics. It is refreshing! Keep it coming!

I was really delighted by how loving your answer about Calvinism was - would love to hear where you stand with the doctrines of grace now - I also love many Reformed preaching brothers and have come to understand so much out of reading the bible in a year and also studying Christian history and seeing that passion and desire to be reforming according to the word of God.
If someone comes to you claiming they've got a word, or a vison, or a dream from God for you, I'd say, don't automatically accept it, but don't automatically discredit it either. God Himself is the first and final authority. Take it to Him, whatever they say. Scripture says to test the spirits (1 John 4:1). So, take it to God in prayer and ask Him in humility and surrender whether or not that word, vision, etc. was really for you from Him.

I love a lot of reformed teachers, as well. I just don’t follow one man. Calvin is just that. A man, who didn’t always get it right. He’s very intelligent, though. He has a lot of insight into theology. But he’s a mere man. We need to keep our Bibles opened to hear what Jesus is saying to His people. God bless you for coming from the NAR to expose it.
Melissa you are blessed and we are blessed to have u. U said urnot reformed but the cerne of the reformation is very simple Salvation by faith alone and not of works.. Many of the things u teach are present in a reformed view of the bible . The expression that u use about want to learn more about GOD and to serve CHRIST is also one of the ways reformed thinking describes a true believer in CHRIST. Calvin was not calvinist he was biblical and i think u can relate to that. Your example is good to man and women alike . Please continue we all need more people like u. I know I go overboard with too much talk and it's like they have to agree with me or else😒I don't like that!!! and I know it just ends up pushing them away. I believe the Lord spoke to my spirit years ago and immediately I understood this..." that I couldn't force feed someone something with too much salt... I was too much salt!" I love your channel. I always say that too about avoiding extremes. The world always wants people to be either radical this or anti that and it's kind of scary. So many Christians on youtube see people using certain words or see people defending someone and make bold assumptions about their character and end up attacking them. We need to look more at values instead of labels. Also words mean different things to different people.

I deeply appreciated your critique of the false theology of the Bethel teachers. My church is really busy with equipping members for ministry to our community and there just isn't time or energy enough to tackle everything. I love having resources like yours for continuing my education. I'd love to hear your take on The Shack and books like that which I see filtering into my own church. I see new age ideas and false theology creeping in through the back door through incessant media exposure. My daughter's Christian college Bible professor has them reading Blue Like Jazz, which is alarming. I would love your and Doreen's help and insight for the spiritual battle going on in our churches.
You and a couple other people inspired me to get into apologetics and start making videos. The few I made had good content, but just didn't look good. I more or less pegged the dating of this video by some things you stated, but I'm one of the men that really think you're doing a great job. I remember a few videos about certain pastors or evangelists, where you definitely showed where they were Scripturally incorrect, but you ended by requesting the viewers not to come down on these people, but to pray for them, that the Lord would move them back to Him. About visions and prophecies, I've had both, but they are no where near being something of a regular occurrence. The one vision I had I didn't even understand until one of my followers wrote back they bear witness this was of the Lord and gave me John 15 as a Scripture reference. And you're right. It was a warning to the Church that if they do not be grafted back into Jesus they would be gathered up and thrown away. Keep God first and any gifts He wants to use in you His Holy Spirit will give you when needed. Too many Pentecostals focus on the gift instead of the Giver, and that's when the thief sneaks in to "steal, kill, and destroy."
Yes God does preform miracles. Salvation is one. God does speak to us through his word. I love the way you expressed the way you show your desire to know Him more. Just opening up your heart and talking to God through it. I love your intelligent discussion of scripture.

Yes, as a woman I also felt that bible studies geared toward women were unsatisfying. I love searching the deeper things of Scripture. I think we are blessed though, that in this day and age, there is more acceptance to our desire to learn.

Love your heart towards calvinism. That's a great place to be. I've in recent years have become more and more "reformed" but not 100%, but at the end of the day it's not an essential doctrine. I have benefited greatly from many of the things I am leaning towards, but I can't quite see eye to eye on all things that many of my reformed brothers do. And I'm completely ok with that, and I still serve with them in evangelism, and everyone's ok with it, the way it should be.

Breaking chains of bondage to food and cravings. But that’s my story and I tell women looking for health and healing they have to find a path that works for them. God will make a way. Giving more than you tithe is an interesting idea. We keep a balance on our account and split up our “net” at the end of the pay period between savings and giving. We have made a commitment to give more than we save. Similar concept. 🤔

I look at it as a family of say 5, the parent may interact with each child differently. In the same way, the Lord communicates to His children in different ways. I've been in circles that totally write off anything "spiritual."
May I add Truth or Territory as I book suggestion for Biblical Spiritual Warfare by Jim Osman! Justin Peters and Jim did an 8 part video series on it breaking down parts of the book. Very well done and they point us back to the sufficiency of scripture which I respect.

You're in my prayers Ali. We are not perfect while on this earth and stumble, but with God, through Christ, He lifts us back up and we push on remembering we are His children. Be careful because the enemy will take the opportunity to exploit that struggle. I was dealing with some issues a couple of weeks ago and the enemy swooped right in telling me lies that I started to believe, until I reminded myself who I am in Christ. We're not perfect, but we strive to be. God knows our heart. Reading the word every day really helps you get to know who God is and His promises to His children that believe and trust in Christ Jesus. May God bless you always. ♥

Tithing is still applicable to a Christian Churches as i know. Its because this is the basis of our recognations that all we received are from God. Then, other givings are all sacrificial that comes from our heart.

Confession
Thanksgiving
Supplication
It’s a good way for a new believer to learn how to pray. It doesn’t have to be done in that order.

I love your humble spirit sister. I listen to a variety of different teachers from different theological perspectives. I don't necessarily agree with all their theology but I am mature enough now to be able to eat the meat spit out the bones. You have to becareful with Calvinism. I was indoctrinated into Calvinism by listening only to Calvinist teachers before I knew what Calvinism was. But I can recognize now, know what the system teaches but still listen to "reformed" teachers that have some good teachings, I just throw out the Calvinism when they go over that. I had time to grow in the scriptures before I came across Calvinism so I always knew something is not right. Alot of times you have it right even as a babe when your just reading and studying the scriptures in context before you get twisted up in a systematic theology. I love Mike Winger also. He is so humble but also good at teaching.
A brother I ran across that had led Pastors and believers out of Calvinism is Brother Kevin Thompson "Beyond the Fundamentals" is his youtube channel. He has a great way of teaching on youtube that he gets you to look at the context. His specialty is bringing people out of Calvinism he was a Calvinist so that is what the majority of his teachings is on confronting the known Calvinistic scripture verses they use by looking at the context. I don't agree with him on everything but he is good at what he does. Dave Hunt "What Love is this" also is good. I love watching Dave Hunt and Johanna Michaelsen on old youtube video's. Also,The best way to stay out of bad theology is learn the Inductive Bible Study Method. You miss so much in context by getting locked into a system.

I’m so glad to have ran across your channel and finding Mike’s channel through yours. I had no idea apologetics existed or I’d heard of it and never looked into it and I love it! And I needed it. And God has shown me so much through my recent Bible study and the channels I follow. Like He’s literally answering my prayers with videos. I do my study, but it’s going to take me a long time to get through my Bible because I break it all down as much as I can in my walk right now to try and really understand it. The RUclips videos He’s lead me to have answered a lot of questions I’ve prayed about, but haven’t necessarily gotten to in my Bible study, yet. The spiritual warfare has been intense, though. Since I’m finally fully free in Jesus. After years of being one foot in and one foot out, so essentially out. I’ve been having nightmares, had to take my son to the ER, cracked my head tonight when a loft bed I was assembling for my daughter fell on my head, and just a lot of small random things to try and trip me up, but the Lord has been with me every step. Saying Jesus relieved the nightmares and fear. My son was 100% healthy at the ER we don’t know what caused it but his blood and urine were 100% clear and he’s been fever free since (I prayed that night as well trusting God). And tonight could have been much worse, I probably need a couple stitches, but no bruising, barely any bleeding, and only surface pain in my head. My first thought was to immediately pray and give it to God, I knew I was bleeding and it was bad, but I trusted Him. And through all that’s happened this week, I still have joy and peace. Something I’d not ever felt, really. To put it into perspective, I was just freed from over 2 decades of chronic major depression and anxiety. Since, I was 5 years old I’ve been clinically depressed. I had resigned myself to believing I’d never be free, couldn’t figure out why a God freed others and not me. Long story short, it was me standing in my own way, not God. He freed me instantly, the moment I was ready to give Him full control. I’ve not felt even the slightest bit of depression since! And that, for me, is a miracle! Anyways, thank you for all that you do for the Lord and I am very much enjoying your channel!

I'm glad to know that you are not a Calvinist or cessationist. I was saved in a Calvinist cessationist church and I am so glad to be free of both doctrines, after many years. That's so cool about the music group of former Mormons.

Sorry to hear of your past hurts. Calvin is one of the more misunderstood reformers. His book, the Institutes will probably show where your former church was wrong. It is a large book but it is arranged by topics. I pray you continue to heal. I would also urge you to forgive and not brand all reform theology as wrong.
I get really confused with calvinism sometimes like "How do I know if i'm one of the elect?" kind of thing. I do believe that once you give your life to christ and have the spirit in you, that youre unlikely to be lost. But my brother was christened as a child and raised with me and is an athiest/agnostic. so I guess im somewhere between Once Saved Always Saved and Repent More than Once or else. Because at least right now when I read the bible I see evidence for both sides.
The mercy of God displayed basically everywhere in scripture balanced out with the holy righteousness of God.
basically how I see it in life is this:
"Being a christian doesn't make you sinless, it just makes you sin less..." Following jesus means youve died to your sin but your sin still lives in your flesh. waging war against the spirit. Just like with Paul.

Your brother was never a believer. You can't lose it if you are saved as nothing can take you from his hand nor break the seal you have and that means nothing not falling into sin, not doubts, not momentary lapses etc hope that helps. If you could lose it by the way you would never have a moments peace, it also leads to legalism, you would never know if you got your day etc exactly right for lack of a better phrase

So so cool to see a young modern Christian women exposing the lies intelligently and not deceived by the Bethel delusion ( different gospel) that do many of my young Christian friends are. It's best to pray to the Father, through the Son, in the Spirit, as this is how we should pray as taught by the Son, and the disciples.

I'd highly suggest Alisa Childers if you don't listen to her. She's an apologist who mainly focused on the progressive church. She's very calm and cerebral in her approach. She's an excellent interviewer. And I believe she and Melissa have done at least one interview together.
I have watched many many of your videos and have not commented until now. I love what you said about women in apologetics. I also have a bent toward learning about the bible, theology, biblical doctrines, science and the bible and more of what would be considered the scholarly part of bible studies. There is a serious lack of women's ministry that focuses on this aspect, as you said. Encouragement definitely has it's place. But I often find myself in conversations with men when it comes to discussing apologetics. I am not sure why that is. ... Anyway, I enjoy your content! You and Doreen have such humility when discussing topics. It is refreshing! Keep it coming!

I was really delighted by how loving your answer about Calvinism was - would love to hear where you stand with the doctrines of grace now - I also love many Reformed preaching brothers and have come to understand so much out of reading the bible in a year and also studying Christian history and seeing that passion and desire to be reforming according to the word of God.

If someone comes to you claiming they've got a word, or a vison, or a dream from God for you, I'd say, don't automatically accept it, but don't automatically discredit it either. God Himself is the first and final authority. Take it to Him, whatever they say. Scripture says to test the spirits (1 John 4:1). So, take it to God in prayer and ask Him in humility and surrender whether or not that word, vision, etc. was really for you from Him.

I love a lot of reformed teachers, as well. I just don’t follow one man. Calvin is just that. A man, who didn’t always get it right. He’s very intelligent, though. He has a lot of insight into theology. But he’s a mere man. We need to keep our Bibles opened to hear what Jesus is saying to His people. God bless you for coming from the NAR to expose it.

Many of the things u teach are present in a reformed view of the bible .
The expression that u use about want to learn more about GOD and to serve CHRIST is also one of the ways reformed thinking describes a true believer in CHRIST.
Calvin was not calvinist he was biblical and i think u can relate to that.
Your example is good to man and women alike .

Great information as always. Yes, Marcia breaks down the Ennegramn like a BOSS!!! It started as a basic blank shell by an occultist and the personality types and numbers were later added in by New Agers and a psychologist, also New Age.
Thank you Melissa for what you're doing, it is ministry because it helps me in my walk with the Lord. When you mentioned the ones with the "save them all" mentality 🙋thats me!!! I know I go overboard with too much talk and it's like they have to agree with me or else😒I don't like that!!! and I know it just ends up pushing them away. I believe the Lord spoke to my spirit years ago and immediately I understood this..." that I couldn't force feed someone something with too much salt... I was too much salt!" I need much help in this area😥.
I've been watching yours and Doreen's videos here lately. I was deeply deceived my entire life by charsmatic churches and family members. I am extremely grateful that people like you do these videos. If I had never stumbled upon one of Doreen's videos I wouldn't have found either of you or the TRUTH! I would of gone deeper an deeper in the deception an I just want you guys to know that what you do makes a huge difference in people's lives. I didn't have enough knowledge of the word just yet and I really desperately needed the wake up call that I received. I've been thanking the Lord daily for having seen the truth. I just wanted you both to know how much it means to me to be able to watch your videos. It has helped me more than words could ever say! I was able to get on the right path to follow the real Jesus. I love your channel. I always say that too about avoiding extremes. The world always wants people to be either radical this or anti that and it's kind of scary. So many Christians on youtube see people using certain words or see people defending someone and make bold assumptions about their character and end up attacking them. We need to look more at values instead of labels. Also words mean different things to different people.

I deeply appreciated your critique of the false theology of the Bethel teachers. My church is really busy with equipping members for ministry to our community and there just isn't time or energy enough to tackle everything. I love having resources like yours for continuing my education. I'd love to hear your take on The Shack and books like that which I see filtering into my own church. I see new age ideas and false theology creeping in through the back door through incessant media exposure. My daughter's Christian college Bible professor has them reading Blue Like Jazz, which is alarming. I would love your and Doreen's help and insight for the spiritual battle going on in our churches.
You and a couple other people inspired me to get into apologetics and start making videos. The few I made had good content, but just didn't look good. I more or less pegged the dating of this video by some things you stated, but I'm one of the men that really think you're doing a great job. I remember a few videos about certain pastors or evangelists, where you definitely showed where they were Scripturally incorrect, but you ended by requesting the viewers not to come down on these people, but to pray for them, that the Lord would move them back to Him. About visions and prophecies, I've had both, but they are no where near being something of a regular occurrence. The one vision I had I didn't even understand until one of my followers wrote back they bear witness this was of the Lord and gave me John 15 as a Scripture reference. And you're right. It was a warning to the Church that if they do not be grafted back into Jesus they would be gathered up and thrown away. Keep God first and any gifts He wants to use in you His Holy Spirit will give you when needed. Too many Pentecostals focus on the gift instead of the Giver, and that's when the thief sneaks in to "steal, kill, and destroy."
Yes God does preform miracles. Salvation is one. God does speak to us through his word. I love the way you expressed the way you show your desire to know Him more. Just opening up your heart and talking to God through it. I love your intelligent discussion of scripture.

Yes, as a woman I also felt that bible studies geared toward women were unsatisfying. I love searching the deeper things of Scripture. I think we are blessed though, that in this day and age, there is more acceptance to our desire to learn.

Love your heart towards calvinism. That's a great place to be. I've in recent years have become more and more "reformed" but not 100%, but at the end of the day it's not an essential doctrine. I have benefited greatly from many of the things I am leaning towards, but I can't quite see eye to eye on all things that many of my reformed brothers do. And I'm completely ok with that, and I still serve with them in evangelism, and everyone's ok with it, the way it should be.

Giving more than you tithe is an interesting idea. We keep a balance on our account and split up our “net” at the end of the pay period between savings and giving. We have made a commitment to give more than we save. Similar concept. 🤔

I look at it as a family of say 5, the parent may interact with each child differently. In the same way, the Lord communicates to His children in different ways. I've been in circles that totally write off anything "spiritual."
