I wouldn't mind seeing a new movie or a revival of Jimmy Neutron with this animation. Reel FX has many of the DNA animators working there.

Jimmy's 3D model looked so clean. It could've been used for new seasons in HD. So sad we never got to see it used again.
The reason for DNA Productions closure was due to the Box Office failure of The Ant Bully.
That movie ruined everything
@Blazar Blue It was by how horrible it did to the box office. If a film does horrible, then its fate is sealed, regardless of how successful the company was with other products or franchises.
The Ant Bully flopped due to very strong competition and poor marketing.

If we get a Jimmy reboot I do not want anything cringey like them flossing, no twerking like the PPG, and please I don't want any new additions like, "Oh Jimmy was secretly friends with some new character you didn't get to see but I'm gonna make him cannon." Just the original with the new animation with nothing cringey with dabs or fortnut dances.
If there's one thing Nickelodeon does right it's revivals
They will have to add in things that kids of today would know about to keep their viewership.
And then the new character gets more screen time than Carl and sheen.

Reboots and remakes have become over saturated nowadays. Most aren't even that good ( *Cough* Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10)

@@RB01.10 I don't mind revivals if they bring everyone back. Almost nobody disliked Samurai Jack's final season. But, if the key people don't return, the revival will turn into a reboot and destroy the series.
The only exception so far is Rugrats. Everyone who is still alive is returning for the reboot and it's only setup that way because nobody liked All Grown Up.

The fact that four main actors from the original series, Christine Cavanaugh, Jack Riley, David Doyle, and Joe Alaskey have since passed away makes me not too sure on Rugrats. And I hope it will *NOT* be the rumored live action. Ugh. No way would it work.
As for why Powerpuff Girls reboot failed, there were more problems than not having the original voice actors back. Ben 10 just lost its charm and enjoyment after the original series ended.
Samurai Jack wasn't quite a reboot, but more of a continuation to give the series a proper finale. And yes, it was amazing.
And as for All Grown Up, looking back, I don't hate it now, but I never got into it as a kid. Yes, many kids shows have teens as the main focus, but it just wasn't executed well. If it was its own show, separate from the Rugrats, maybe it would've worked better. The 2001 special was very good, yes. But they should've just left it at that.

A bit of a correction on the finale: while Best in Show (alongside its sister) was the last episode to air, it wasn’t the last episode in production or canonical order. Assuming you don’t count the Jimmy/Timmy Power Hours 2 and 3 (since 2 is confirmed to take place after the following finale), the last episode is The League of Villains, which, for some reason, was aired a year before the series finished airing.
Jimmy Neutron was one of my favorite TV shows when I was a kid so as an adult I would definitely watch a revival.
I freaking LOVED Jimmy Neutron. I wish he could come back.

A little fun Fact. The voice for Paul was Paul Claerhout. Which the recording was an Interview on The company’s other show. Nana and Lil Puss puss. Every time Claerhout was interviewed, he would say “Hi, I’m Paul”

Frootlewpz yes, we used it for many years and it was really comfortable and efficient. Great for long road trips too

What I never understood was why the season 3 episodes aired out of order.
Idk if a revival is a good idea. Had plenty of seasons and ended with grace. Shouldn’t revive something just to ruin it. Its not that popular anymore cuz ppl moved on to other things. Not like it ended on a cliffhanger like Samurai Jack or anything.

Back when this comercial was airing, we all knew Jimmy Neutron was off the air. It still kept reairing so we had a HUGE love for the series (this was before we fully knew the movie and especially that it was released before the show). So when this comercial aired, it was like an early nostalgic trip back to the good ol' times, though I swear that it was really 2008 or 2009 that we at least saw it.

This show ended around the same time the Fairy Oddparents were supposed to end on, but that kept going.
@Anthony Guarino Actually it was in 2017 it came to an end, but yeah. Fairy Oddparents should of made the same decision Jimmy Neutron made back in 2006; end as a great show or take the death path like Spongebob did, and the Fairy Oddparents choose the death path. It's such a shame.

The reason they were featured in the commercial was the fact that Jimmy hadn't been cancelled yet. DNA Productions were in the middle of making Season 4 but then And Bully flopped and killed DNA Productions, and Jimmy Neutron, by proxy.
While “best in show” was the final episode to air, “lady sings the blues” is the TRUE finale.

What’s even weirder is I remember Dunkin Donuts having a Jimmy Nuetron promotion in 2008-2009. Which I thought was weird because Nick hadn’t shown it in a while.
I remember it so vividly because I was visiting Boston. And I know it wasn’t an old poster because it said ©2008 (i love reading that stuff.)

Director John A. Davis had a hit with Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius which got an Oscar Nomination and eventually made into a series. Sadly due to the flop of the Ant Bully, he hadn't made another movie since. Animation house DNA Productions closed down after The Ant Bully tanked and resulted in the cancellation of Jimmy Neutron despite a fourth season being in the planning stage.

funny that you bring this up now,I rewatched the movie with my little sister the other day and I was thinking it would be awesome if they revived it because the difference in the animation would be expedential and Nickelodeon made a deal with Netflix (that's why Invader Zim:Enter the Florpus and Rocko's modern life:Static Cling premiered on there exclusively) so it's possible that we'll get some sort of revival in the future

0:28 King of Mars also premiered the same day as Best in Show, and its double its length and has Jimmy and Cindy’s relationship being developed, so I’d say it’s a more fitting finale.
phat boi I believe the last episode to officially air was How to sink a Sub and Lady sings the news. But League of Villians was the closest thing to a finally-like episode the show would have, even if it was aired out of order.
