That 7 sec R35 GTR is just so good, I really like that apart from the tyres and parachute it looks mostly OEM.
Still has Full interior and all metal panels etc - change the wheels and tyres and it’s a full street car
It would have been a nice feature if you had the times and speed for the runs displayed. Most of them couldn’t be seen on the board.
Some of those 60ft looks so quick. Wish we could see that data

Wow that 6 second 2j rx7 is incredible. Definitely can't tell it's that fast by appearance alone. One of my favorites from this video for sure.🔥🔥
Edit: wild that most of the big tire cars were in the 6s as well and that rx7 did it on a small tire.

I like that they went for something original, but WARGTR looked so much better when it was Pearl White and had the colour matched factory rocker covers.
Bet the new covers are a lot better for baffling and oil control though

What causes GTRs in particular to swerve so violently in drag racing?
Even the really fast and well sorted ones do it.
Seems particularly bad at Cootamundra.

It’s not just that, we don’t have a good enough base engine to work from. Nothing on par with the RB or 2J.
The B58 is still aluminum block, won’t see passed 700wtq without problems in a drag setting.

Yes
Absolutely
The workshops that build em are usually also licenced to mod plate them/approve engineering certificates that lets them be street registered with the mods documented, or they get it certified independently.
