The rent is gonna be between $175 - $235. All apartments are 4 people, either 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms or 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms.
That’s a ridiculous price for housing.
@@stephaniepink6085 well, it’s justified 🤷🏻♀️. 2 person 1 bedroom apartment has been $200 for the last 4 years. With all the amenities, max 4 per apartment, the most expensive you have your own bedroom and bathroom. It’s all brand new.
Omg yes! I’m only finishing up my sophomore year in high school, but I really want to do the Disney College Program in college.
Hopefully it all goes back to normal when you reach that time!!
Sameeee I can’t wait maybe we’ll be Im the same program haha
I was asked to come back to the Disney College Program, and now all I can think about is vlogging! So excited!!!!!
This is the best news I’ve heard in a while!!! It’s been my dream to work for the DCP (I’m in my first year of university at the moment) and I was worried I wouldn’t have the chance to due to the pandemic. Fingers crossed that everything works out!
I'm so glad you're back! I found your channel over the past couple months and I've already binged watched all your vids 😂 so yay for new content 😊
hahaha yay! thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying my channel! ❤
Hello there O! Good to see you freakin out about some Disney again! Lol enjoy your weekend!
Soo glad too see you have uploaded!
I applied so many times a few years ago for the international program but never got in 😞 but I'm so happy for you all that get to do it..were going in January ( considering we're allowed to travel ) so hopefully see you all then 😁
The magic is coming back! Happy now, especially since Disneyland & WDW are both open again!
Yes!!! Such great news!
Thank you for all the information, your video is very informative and I appreciate you for sharing.
THIS IS SOO HELPFUL! THANKS!
As much as I need a Disneyland trip, I’m holding off until passes are available again. I think the most underrated ride at Disneyland is autopia. Yes it’s slow and doesn’t do much and also your cramped into a little car but it can be peaceful and relaxing driving through nature
The rents per week are ridiculous. If it was monthly that would be different. Splitting an apartment 4 ways would be cheaper.
I just applied for the program yesterday! Already got through my WBI and I'M SO NERVOUS! My dreams are so close to coming true!
AHHHHH congratulations!!!! Best of luck! Sending pixie dust your way 💕
I also need a Disney trip 🥰. Underrated ride... The redwood Creek Challenge trail.
Hi Olivia! I lost track of you for a while but nice to see you again with a DCP vlog. I hope they are reasonable with the rent there because they should know these are young people with not a lot of money and go to the parks a lot and spend money in them, which they won't be able to do if they're broke all the time.
I reapplied last week!!!
AHHH GOOD LUCK!!! Sending pixie dust your way
Never clicked so fast💞
I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN I HEARD THE NEWS!
@@olivia_simone funny thing is, I was just watching one of your old videos and then your notification popped up hahahha
@@LuviiTunes No way! XD That's great when that happens hahaha
I’m 17...IVE NEVER EXPERIENCED IT OMG I WANNA JOIN THE DCP SO BAD WHEN I TURN 18
Great news all around!! 😄
I really wish I could do the dcp but I have chronic health issues that keep me from being able to do much 😞
Thankfully I can still visit the parks again one day (hopefully in the next year)
I'm so glad about the festival of the lion king performers (they are so great)
Most underrated at World: the now defunct Maelstrom
Most underrated at Land: probably the Monsters Inc. ride at DCA (knowing the horrors that came before it lol)
Nice to have new videos. 😃
Yay! Thanks for watching!
My favorite underrated ride is Goofy sky school Disneyland
Happy your back!! And I want to ride, any ride!
Hey olivia!!i had been watching you a few years now you are literally my favourite creater.is there an age restriction for the dcp? Xx
This is great news. If we are talking about Disneyworld then I think it would be fun to ride one of the rides in Pandora if we are talking about Disneyland when it comes to underrated rides I'm honestly not sure because I feel like people all seem to gravitate to the rides I like and it's been a while since I've been to Disneyland anyways.
Such great news!! And omg the Pandora rides are the beeeeeest!
i just applied! i'm super nervous about it because they have gotten rid of the phone interview, so i don't really know how i'm going to individually stand out. as for FVC, we now make $13 so i'm hoping that helps balance out the new cost. i believe it's like $235 for rent
Also rent is $700 a month per person there. So 250 per week from what I’ve heard
I can't wait to go....my FA 2020 was canceled...I was supposed to be a character performer...hopefully I can get back in the entertainment department soon
Never been to Disney, but I really want to go to Haunted Mansion that would be a major goal!
yessss! Haunted Mansion is the best! And the Disneyland version is different than the WDW version, so definitely a must see!
I was wondering if the rent would be more with the new housing. I went to Disney World May 23-28. It was fun but exhausting. I like California Disneyland better than Magic Kingdom though. I will say the most underrated ride at Magic Kingdom is People Mover. At Disneyland, I am not really sure because I think all of the rides are great. Maybe the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
I feel like the Matterhorn is so underrated! I know it breaks your back but...
bahahahah it honestly does break your back
Im so excited its back, I've just finsished my junior year of high school, and hopefully I'll get to do DCP fall of sophmore year
ahhhh best of luck!!
For the college program, they should lower the rent somehow like make it based on the individual income of each student. Not everybody in the program will have the same income so it would help them out. Also as a person on a low/fixed income through the state makeing ends meet can be really difficult esspecially when rent come into play. I like places to live that the rent is based on income, it helps alot & its affordable. Every place is different esspecially from state to state. So atleast we can hope DCP can figure something out with that. Know disney, they probably will😊🙏🏻
It’s taken out of your paycheck every week rent is $175-235 Per week and all rules make at least 13 an hour starting this year so not necessarily all income will be the same because it is based on how many hours you get but you’ll be given enough to at least cover housing
This is great news
Yes!! I'm so excited!!
I was one who got my extension in 2020 as a character attendant cut short. Please to say I will pt custodial starting later this month!
yay!!! I'm so glad you get to go back!
@@olivia_simone It will be interesting how this whole new mask policy will affect the CMs at the parks in general.
@Olivia Simone Awsome ! :)
I’m going to be a senior next year and I really want to try dcp it looks so much fun 😊
yes! Good luck!!

Living with the Land is underrated!
I still have not been on that one!
I don't know how I feel about this. Like I am still bitter that they are bringing them back, but at the same time I know they need to bring them back for staffing. I was part of the layoffs from Disney and I have not received my callback yet for PhotoPass. So I am bitter but at the same time hopeful.
That's completely understandable :( I hope you get the call back soon Ashley!!
@@olivia_simone so funny story! About a week after posting that comment I got my callback! Lol 😂
@@ashleybadiukiewicz2430 YAYYYYYY! 🎉🎉🎉
Hi I’m hooked to your channel, really got to learn a lot from it. I’m from India and got to know that I can apply for the cultural
Representation program. Did you have any interactions with them ? Would love to get your opinion and info about it.
Thanks 💚
i hope they open up the application to other students as well🥺 got accepted in 2019 and never got the chance to go🥲🥲🥲🥲
oh no!! I'm sure they will!
We took my 9 year son to WDW for his birthday on the 11th his birthday is the 29th but it was his birthday trip an he was THRILLED when Gaston said that he was glad my son got to see Gaston on his birthday lol my mom was like " typical Gaston"
AW!
Hi! Do you know any news about people who would like to join? Is there a separate application process? If so, when would that be?
disneyprogramsblog.com has all the info!
So my program was canceled last year so I reapplied 😊🥺
Olivia deserves 100M subscribers
you're so sweet!
@@olivia_simone omg hi
Winnie the Pooh is a solid ride
yesss I love that ride!
If I get accepted but end up not being able to pay the fee or go will it ruin my chances to get in another time?
It will not! As long as you don’t accept and back out last minute - that’s the only thing they really care about. But if you can’t pay the fee, that’s pretty close to the original offer and they know people are juggling and figuring things out still so it won’t ruin your chances at future programs if you back out at that point!
@@olivia_simone okay thank you so much!!!
I'm one of them. I start June 21st - Jan 27th and opted in for gender neutral housing too see how that is
I think Living with the Land is really underrated.
