  • No money challenge for 24 hours, Shanghai, China - Getting scammed and eating food
    My arrival in china • Stressful Arrival in S...
    No money, shanghai china. Can we do it? Today we explore the city, seeing all parts of it, finding food, getting scammed, exploring the fake markets and catching up with some good friends. Shaghai has a population of 29 million people and is an extremely advance city. With me only speaking alittle chinese, difficuilt is an understatement into how this challenge went.

    China is not North Korea and is very free. China is a country that prohibits drugs and guns, and the police do not carry guns. Don’t mistake Chinese police for American police. The police only patrol and perform duties to serve the people. Trump has praised China's anti-drug policy in many speeches and hopes to learn from China. If you don't commit crimes, you don't have to be afraid of the police and surveillance cameras.I had
    been to China a number of time. It is probably one of the safest place on earth. Over here you will see
    friendly people, who want to take pictures with you, No homeless people...No drugs or violence.superb infrastructure, very conveniences to go around from
    city to city.I felt safe in China . I did NOT feel safe in USA.

    Try doing it in rural areas - likely you get to be invited into their homes to join them for their breakfast or lunch or dinner !
    More substantial meals & reception then in urban commercial settings. 😅

    In China, if you don't have money, you can go directly to the police and they will give you food and a ticket home. You can also find a kind passerby who will be willing to buy you something to eat. However, if you ask for food at the store door, they usually won't give it to you because they think you can make your own money to support yourself.

    但是骗子可以听懂英语和你交流,全中国任何一个大小城市景点都有很多很多的骗子,骗子专门骗一些喜欢贪小便宜的人,中国俗话说“贪小便宜会吃大亏”,总的来说,你差一点上“酒托”的当,因为你表现的像是一个贪小便宜的人(无论哪个国家的人)。
    视频中是真实的中国,如果你想见到更多旅游中真实的中国,请使用翻译软件和中国人交流,期待后续视频。

    One of the philosophies behind fact there’s almost no homeless people in China. How come someone walks around begging for food and money instead of working for these. But as matter of fact, you get better chance having treat of free meal than asking for it. Just walk around the residence area at lunch or dinner time, make friends with locals and get invited. Suburban region is better, avoid busy commercial district, the opposite way you did in the video.

    • @palmpalm5131
      @palmpalm5131 6 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, you are right. After poverty alleviation program, there is almost no homeless, if any, in China. And Chinese people are hardworking and resourceful so a young, capable young man walking around asking for free food is unthinkable to them. But I agree, go to the a residential or more rural areas and talk to people and make friends. There, you will likely be invited to a free meal.

  • @CCQQ475
    @CCQQ475 6 месяцев назад +16

    It's really so sad that you failed the challenge and met a scammer 😂, probably because you looks like innocent and kind from your appearance . BTW, a lot of the owners of shops in China are businessmen minded and will turn down requests for free meals from young people they think are still capable of working, and are more likely to be thinking about how they can make a profit (and a lot of them are shop assistants who are not in a position to decide whether or not to offer a free meal). If the language barrier is looser or if you use translators and look for a local to buy you a meal, there is a high probability that they will think it's okay (because eating in China is not expensive).😮

    It's wired to ask for free food while taking video, people don't speak English but they're not fool。And Chinese people don't think it is decent to ask for free food if you're capable of labor. If you're in trouble or anything you need help, ask the police, they'll be happy to help you. Don't be afraid, Chinese police is totally different from other countries'. Most of them are unarmed, and their motto is "Serve the people".

Everyone's standard of happiness is different. You shouldn't look at any country you don't know with prejudice. You think India is the most polluted, and China has no privacy and is unfriendly. If you feel unhappy during the trip, why go on? To make yourself unhappy?

Go to random people walking on the street, with your look, go to girls, they will buy you food. Type it in English in your phone and have it translated. Just say you have no money and the ATM for your card does not work, you have no e-money yet, you are hungry, ask them for a favor to buy you some food to eat, then it show them.
