This was a double sided single. Radio used to play “We Will Rock You”, and the the flip side of the single “We Are The Champions” right after it. Two of the greatest sports hype songs of all time

When I was a kid, my sister had the single 45 RPM record of this. It was We Will Rock You on one side and We are the Champions on the other. That back to back is the only way I can hear it in my head too!
This song came out when I was in high school and almost everyone had the album (I think I still have mine but no turntable). But on the album, they move directly from "We Will Rock You" into "We Are The Champions" with no break in between so it seems weird to just end the song without going into the second song. Even on the radio back in the day, they ALWAYS played both songs together.
Yep - no breaks on this album.. (or on Night at the Opera) and I have my old vinyl (from 1970's).. never took care of them, but I recently bought a used turntable & speakers from a friend.. .and I don't even care if they're scratchy and skip -- I still LOVE them... lol

Queen was so good at creating the big anthem/stadium songs- actually they were great at everything, but you know what I mean!
Queen wanted an anthem ; a song that everyone could sing /play along simply by stomping their feet twice and clapping their hands once ; i mean what is more simple then that ? you dont need any instruments or you dont need to ever have touched an instrument in your life; but EVERYONE can play this song with theyr hands and feet ; in hindsight its probably one of the most genius musical ideas anyone could have come up with ;
WWRY was created by accident, when they tried to warm up while shooting another music video - Spread your wings.
Re-reacting is a great idea, cause we all know it takes hearing certain songs atleast several times before you really hear it all, its to intricate for one listen

Mr. Video re-reacted to "Bohemian Rhapsody" when he got his first pair of ear buds! People kept telling him he missed so much just watching it on TV. Then, when he read the directions for his earbuds, it recommended "BoRap" as the song to listen to so you could hear the quality. He was so excited, "it goes to the right ear - then left!!!" 🤣

Queen album,. News of the World,. We will Rock You, and We are the Champions, are the first two songs. When the album came out in 1977 the radio stations played the songs back to back as if they were one. And that’s the way the two songs should always be played.

Love of My Life & You Take My Breathe Away (live & studio versions) are the next 2 Queen songs you should listen to. Live versions show Freddie controlling the crowd like nobody has or will ever do. Studio versions show the whole Queen presentation.
Queen Songs are the best option you can choose. Some of my favourite Songs are " Killer Queen, Don't stop me now and Good old fashioned Lover Boy.
Written by Dr Brian May mainly for the fans to have something else to join in with, as they've always been about the fans, and one of the first groups inviting them to take part in music videos, it's recorded in Roger Taylor back garden, along with Spread Your Wings. If you want too react Bo Rap Wembley Stadium I think the Saturday show live too a point, some parts they couldn't do live, and you'll hear from the get go the fans joining in all 80,000 of them, which is how many the old Wembley held, including corporate hospitality boxes etc, I know I worked there

My cousin & I were kids playing around at my aunt's restaurant, getting quarters from the customers to put in the jukebox to play this song (with Bohemian Rhapsody) over & over again. Great reaction to this iconic song. After the success of this version, Queen performed a “fast version” to open some of their live performances. Freddie had said it seemed odd to play “We Will Rock You” at the end of the show after the band had been rocking the fans all night. Listen to the fast version sometime….it’s also great and very high energy. A great opener!

Roger Taylor just bought his first house as they weregoing to record this. This was filmed in Roger's back yard. It was so cold and hard to do, they said in an interview I heard, that they never recorded outside again.

The lyrics are rowdy, the stomp-beat is rowdy, the way Mercury sang it was rowdy....I always called it "The soccer riot song" As it is, I think the nba still uses it today at big games
You guys should definitely watch the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody the movie." It's obviously about Queen and the life of Freddy, there are parts which show how they came up with many of their songs. The movie ends with their Live Aid concert which you already reacted to.

FYI... Something unique about Queen is that their "official" studio recordings and their LIVE versions of their songs are ALWAYS "changed up" so that you can watch/listen to the same song and have totally DIFFERENT experiences. (They did this on purpose, so fans would have different listening experiences. They also ALWAYS changed how they performed songs from one show to the next, so if someone came to multiple concerts, they would still experience something different.)
....My point is that you can react to studio and live versions any Queen song - or even react to different live versions of a song from different shows - and NOT feel like you're just "re-reacting" to it!
I actually think it would be a good to react to some of the early ones you reacted to and talk about your journey down whatever rabbit hole it takes you.
