Dr. Michael Lovell announces the creation of the new Vieth Institute for Real Estate Leadership, made possible by a generous gift from Perry and Sheila Vieth, Marquette alumni and long-time supporters of the Marquette real estate program. The Vieth Institute's interdisciplinary structure combines the strengths of three colleges - business, law and engineering - capturing momentum for two trends that will lead the future of higher education: applied learning and interdisciplinary problem solving, both of which help students step forward as highly prepared professionals and leaders in their organizations.
