    where do I begin...
    - there used to be pens from "post-it", it was a ballpoint on one end, highlighter on the other end, and the clip came with page markers! they are hard to find these days if anyone knows something similar, please let me know
    - stabilo highlighters. Come on various colors and various inks, and they match the felt tip and fineliners color-wise.
    - faber castell mechanical pencils are some of the most comfortable to use, and come with thin or thick bodies depending on what you prefer.
    - bic cristal ultra fine - a cheap very thin ballpoint which writes suprisingly smooth and thin
    - uni propos highlighters - 2 tips (fineliner and highlighter ) and the clear window is super nice.
those were a few from the top of my head ^^

As someone with dyspraxia, I think that thick triangular pencils need to be treated less like little kids things. Sure we didn’t get the best stuff, but I didn’t really like any pencil, wood or mechanical, until those papermate 1.3mm triangular pencils came out. My only complaints is they feel, and are, flimsy and their erasers don’t stay in that well.

I like the Air, it was my favorite for a time, but I've gradually moved on. The porous point feathers into a grungy thin-thick texture when you slow down, even on heavier mixed media paper, which makes it very characterful for drawing but also not always what I want. For transparent line-making I have gravitated towards the 207+ and One instead - the One is fussy about paper and it has a really viscous ink, but it makes some of the best lines, while the 207+ handles really well for me and it works on most stuff.

I still have a small hoard of Fountain Pentels in all four colors! They still write and slowly I'm using them up. Then, one day at a meeting, a lady was using what looked like the Fountain Pentel--even down to the same nib! The entire body was brown though. When I asked about it, she said it was her favorite pen. It was a Pentel Stylo. Needless to say, I ordered 4 and don't worry about the Fountain Pentels anymore. The only downside is that they don't make the green ink pen.

I never met a Sharpie I didn’t like…until I bought the Sharpie gel pens a few months ago…I just don’t like it (I love the Pentel Energel and Zebra Sarasa) it feels like it “hitches” on the paper and doesn’t have that nice smooth writing experience (for me, I guess if it’s popular, its a ‘me’ thing, lol.) I never hear people talk about Sharpie’s water based fine liners tho (and I wish they came in more colors!!!) those are fantastic fine liners and are inexpensive as well. Don’t bleed, don’t smear, write smoothly, last a good period of time…and I’m heavy handed, and it takes a long time to wear out the tip (I kill a Stadler fine liner super quickly.)

The reason why nobody talks about the Sharpie pen anymore is because it's not a Sharpie. Meaning, it's not a permanent marker pen. That's the reason why, I believe that most people don't care about it. They need something between the extra fine tip (WAAAy too thin) and the "fine" tip (WAAAy to thick) and this pen was supposed to be that...but it's just a plain old pen. You guys feel free to send that to Sharpie exec's because they really blanked the pooch on this one. thanks for the video

(P.S. I don't mind if the ink quality is horrible because I tend to refill the pens I get with Sarasa ink. As long as the pen body is nice, I'll be happy.)

I really enjoy the Zebra G-301 GP in 0.7 mm. The only problem is the limited amount of ink in it, so I have a large bin of used aluminum pen bodies. Recently, I discovered the Zebra Sarasa dryX-o in the 0.7 mm. With its plastic body and larger comfort grip, it is not as sleek as the G-301, but the significantly larger ink reservoir makes for a longer lasting pen. And both deliver smooth, skip-free lines of quick-drying gel ink. I have enjoyed Zebra pens since I first found them while I was in Japan in the early 1980s.

The Sharpie ball point wrote like crap the times I tested it. It was not smooth at all. I would take a worn out Zebra dipped in sand over it any day.

Sharpie Gel is my absolute go to! I prefer less viscous ink normally but Sharpie just does gel the right way.
