Where in the world did you find a new in the box ms310? Theyve been out of production for almost 15 years. Ive got one of the last made in 2009 and its been a fantastic firewood saw. Ive only had a little troubke with the carburetor, but that was my fault for leaving it sitting with ethanol fuel in it all summer. Congrats on your finding one,you wont be disappointed.
The Stihl MS310 chainsaw was produced between 2000 and 2009. As for current production locations, Stihl does have manufacturing facilities in Brazil, particularly in the city of São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul where old models are still produced and is available on the market for certain countries. Depending on your location probably it is not available for your market. MS 310 bought new in 2020, Serbia, still available new for shopping.
@@StefanStojanovic93 The ones here for the USA market is now the ms311. Not much changed from the 310 to 311. I think the air filter and plastic top cover changed,but that's about the only difference that I know of. The basic design and weight,etc are about the same. I love the availability and affordability of parts too.
@@ciphercode2298 yea, 311 is a new model and sucsesor to the 310. Main defference is new air filter, air separation and of course new design. 311 still not availabe in Serbia.
